So, what about the idea of Thechuck51 in targeting ourselves? That would be a crack in the system....or we better play within the obvious patterns from the thread?
Sure, I'm up for this.

I foresee an issue with targeting ourselves. I feel as though nobody would play along :D

Rarely is targeting oneself ever allowed. I doubt we'll be allowed to.

I'm such a negative Nancy. :P

So how do we handle a D1 lynch in this scenario? It's pretty tough to go scum hunting when no even knows if they're scum yet.

I dont know, but I would assume that since we are going to have the same amount of evidence today as we are the rest of the days, we may as well lynch someone anyways.

unvote vote Falko for trying to mine the system. and because I've never played with you yet... :P That being said I assume a crap D1 case is going to show up somewhere

Thats the thing... there can't be a GOOD case day 1 because nobody can slip up because nobody knows if they are mafia. FWIW, my plan to target ourselves was a joke. if it actually worked it would take any fun out of playing the game.

i think we have four options:

1 - vote no lynch (i'm leaning toward this as of right now)
2 - random lynch
3 - lynch the player we think will be the least helpful in the upcoming days
4 - lynch the player we think would be the hardest to catch as mafia.

I am willing to agree with that logic. And the chances of hitting town are 5/6th vs. 1/6th. Its going to be interesting.

I think thechuck is right with regards to the possible courses of action. I think a deadline lynch via jokevoting would be very unhelpful, so I will unvote vote no lynch

I agree with chuck's logic. We have absolutely zero information as a whole, or even as an individual. A random lynch would be sad for whomever we choose to target, pretty much not being able to take part in the crazy setup that is this game. Unvote, vote no lynch.

Obviously no lynch. All town members need information.

unvote, vote no lynch

Also, I don't want to be lynched just yet, I like the setup too much.

well i agree that forcing a lynch would be counter productive as no one knows if they are a sk or not yet so unvote, vote no lynch

so are we going to go into the night with some type of plan or are we just going to wing it? A plan would be nice but we have no way of verifying that it was followed. But with no plan, if a couple of people target the same player and he dies we could have a couple townies thinking they are SKs.

Well because we dont know who we are yet, theres no real way of verifying that anyone wants to follow the plan. If the SK's follow the plan, then they are screwed. Since nobody knows if we are SKs yet, nobody would follow the plan anyways, and so I feel like having a plan would just add confusion since obviously the first question of the day would be "hey, so uh, if everyone followed the plan, this person is the killer, but can we really know that?". Just my input.

Since any plan we put together would probably not be followed (unless someone wants to play the odds) it seems a wasted effort. Once people figure out if they are SK or Town then a plan can be more useful.

I don't trust any of you and I don't expect you to trust me.

I'm gonna target Animainiacks. Or I'm just saying that whilst secretly targeting Safari.

Even if town knows they're town we can't use a plan to defeat them, unless there secretly are blockers, trackers or watchers among us. And since I don't think there are, good luck beating the setup. Doom couldn't. Otherwise he would have joined.
