no I don't think thats wise, he might be scum that turns out pro-town, there is also the possibility that because I am Homer Simpson, the cop aspect of my jack of all trades role is a paranoid one. If you decided to lynch me I would never be able to utilise my three other skills for towns benefit. However, if this goes wrong I guess I would have lost the towns trust and if they feel they have to lynch me, which would be a mistake, there would be little I could say otherwise

The reason I ask is because you come right out and ask us to vote someone and claim that role. Other then that we dont' have enough info to really know if that person is or isn't scum and for people to just vote on it is more of a bandwagon without any solid evidence.

only way to see if I am lying is to test out my theory otherwise we will be walking in circles, if you want to be fooled by mafia then be fooled. in a mafia game its hard to get much more evidence than that, I am afraid I can't get anyone to vouch for me because I have no contact with any other townies. the mafia on the other hand know who each other are and therefore they will be attempting to prevent their man from being lynched

Possible scenarios:
1. Nag is town - Hitman is scum
2. Nag is town - Hitman is town (Nag getting bad reads as Homer)
3. Nag is scum - Hitman is town

So there's a 2/3 chance that both Nag and Hit are town. The ONLY way to know for sure is to lynch Hitman... BUT we need to hear from Hitman first to hear his claim.

So let's not rush a lynch or talk in circles until we hear from Hitman, OK?

Metagaming time here.... having skimmed through your first day, I noticed Mandy sticks out like a sore thumb. I've played a few games with him, and have come to see his style when he's scum and when he's not, and in this game he's acting like scum. He plays calm cool and collected when scum, and is more erractic and accusatory when town. I'd like to hear his defense why he's not scum? I imagine it will be entertaining.

True, I was erratic and accusatory in Sherwood game, but that was mostly because my goals were to get killed early and, if possible, take some scum down with me (and I succeded in both, if you remember ). Also, in this games there is many players that I haven't played with before, so I am trying to learn more about their playing style (and possible mafia tells, for the futere reference )

nagerous, you're claiming cop then, I presume? Can you please tell us your name? I'd like to verify you are indeed the cop first before voting, as you could just be scum trying to out the cop. Or there is the possibility of two cops, meaning one would not be sane. Either way, name please.

We cannot beleive or disbeleive Nagerous that soon yet. He claimed an investigation from a jack-of-all-trades role, with the character of Homer Simpson.

He claimed hitman turned out scum, therefor the only way to get useful informations is to lynch Hitman.


But multiple situations could come in anyway:

-Someone else claim Homer Simson character. Then we have another lead as who between them could be a scum ( nag or the other claimer.)

Hitman gets very good evidence he isn't a scum, then Nag is the scum.

-Nagerous gets wrong actions at night. He could well have targetted a townie that turned out scum. In this case, he won't be useful to the town if he tries another action but will screw that up because he is Homer.

-Nagerous is scum and is trying to lynch a cop/doc.



It's still too early to know exactly what the situation we are in, but we got to search some evidences, and one of the best/easiest way would be to lynch Hitman, UNLESS he starts talking and show something. Then we can either lynch Nag or any other that looks scummy.

We have a lead for now, and we should follow it until someone gets up and place a rock in our gears.
