twig posted his whacked out chart yesterday, in response to which mandalorian came out with another of his insane theories - that twig was the mole, and the people in white were scum. Colaalone came back with "that theory would require twig having a clue," and proceeded to vote twig.
So, here's the way my suspicion works : if Colaalone were town, he would know for a fact that twig's chart, and hence mandalorian's theory, was fruity; but, if that's the case, it was pretty obvious that twig was just a n00b townie, so why vote?
On the other hand, if Colaalone were scum, he would also know for a fact that mandalorian's theory was fruity (the mafia should believe that the mole is one of them; twig was a townie), but that twig had been right by accident. Lynching twig would kill a townie and also prove twig wasn't hiding any information in his chart.
Cola's a smart player; I'm pretty sure he knew twig was a townie yesterday. I can't see him pressing the lynch unless he was scum.
Well... I've just come up with a potential flaw in the argument. mandalorian targeted willis first; suspicion wasn't raised against Cola until I did so, at which point mandalorian linked my argument with the chart. If willis were town and Cola scum, Cola should have been perfectly happy to go for willis (unless he thought twig were the easier lynch); the only reason he'd be against that plan were if they were both scum.LSU Tiger Josh wrote:Very well thought out
This is actually making quite a bit a sense. Although it's nothing concrete, it's really something better then just random guesses. I'll agree with this and go with your line of reasoning and VOTE---Colaalone....just to see where this goes. If nothing else, this should get a good discussion going on.LSU Tiger Josh wrote:Aimless wrote:I guess I should give a bit more explanation on that FOS, but it's mostly a gut. yes maybe a little bit of revenge, but i didn't think his accusation was justified. every morning i read all the new pages to catch up on events, and just because i randomly voted, cos to be honest i have no idea who the mafia are, i don't think that means i'm not tryingAnarkistsdream wrote:So you revenge vote???diddle wrote:i am trying, unvote colaAimless wrote:diddle, if you aren't even going to try, don't play.
vote Aimless for making pointless accusations
That's retarded...

Metagaming: I never saw Aimless go after someone so directly when he is scum. Ergo, he is IMO townie.Aimless wrote:You know, I guess there's no point in not voting, and I might as well get the day started.
Vote Colaalone

But you never unvoted twig, even though it was readily apparent that he was just a n00b townie. (Not that I'm excusing anyone else of the bandwagon brigade; you're just first on my list.)Colaalone wrote:Everyone else bandwagoned twig, don't blame me. Then Mandy comes out with that semi-plausible scenario about THE CHART. I found the flaw in his plan that affected me:
If Willis happened to be scum out of pure luck, I would be the next to go (being the most experienced player of the "white" players) and that would only hurt the town.
It wasn't. I was just advising those thinking the chart held valuable information (Mandy and the impressionable noobs that would follow him) that if they wanted to prove that theory, lynching willis over twig was a bad play. My vote never had anything to do with the chart.Aimless wrote:Plus, why would the chance that willis might turn out to be scum and thus implicate you be a reason to vote twig?
There is a real chance of ANYONE being scum on day two. Just because you can't find a good lead on someone, doesn't mean they aren't scum.Aimless wrote: If you thought there was a real chance willis was scum, you would have gone after him.
