How shoul I play this game

Some people (most poeple) do not like the way I play.

Please tell me how I can play in order for everybody to like me (the way I play)?

most people are happy if you do the following:

• don't start insulting other players
• don't suicide yourself into other players
• If you make a deal, don't break it before announcing in advance your gonna break it
• Don't reveal other players specific data when it's fog(except for that what is already obvious through gamelog)
• make a joke in chat now and then
• If you are clueless about tactics on that map, it helps to say it in chat and ask for tips(people often become more understanding if you do that)
• in teamgames talk to your teammate and discuss tactics(active communication)
• in escalating games, don't hit people until they are almost dead but you are still unable to kill 'm yourself, hence providing an easy kill for another player
• in assassin, try not to hit other players who aren't your target too hard. It only provides an easy victory to someone else
• if you ade a mistake, it helps to admit it in chat and cursing to yourself about it or to appologize. People are very understanding to people who are able to admit to his own mistakes.

my advice: go to the SOC training ground or personally find an experienced player willing to guide you and train you

What do you do that people complain about most? Next time someone complains ask what you should have done instead. Most will likely give advice that may help you about general game play if you are making mistakes.

Many Foolish Questions going on around here.

I was reading some stuff in the Forum and Thought, what is the Stupidest Question I could ask for those of you who think Others should play the game in the manner with which you are accustom.

I love it when people lambaste my game play!


I am a Unorthodox player and for many people my game play sucks (win or lose).

I really do not care if I win or lose. Have fun playing da game.

Sometimes it fun just to piss some of the ignant people off around here.
If I do something wrong It is because Somebody has pissed me off or I wish to try to do something different.

Not good to be predictable all the time.

Eliminating a player on the first turn.
Taking a player out with a 1 to 2 odds (on a conqueror cup game) for no other reason than to watch him die.
Allowing my self to be eliminated just so my team player can go for the win (putting all my units on his terits at set up).

Losing in a game (having only one terit), having to break a treaty and going (and getting) for the win.
Provoking players to attack me. I mean talking sh*t to everybody on the board just to have them attck me.
Just some of the stuff I might do in any game.

Don't suicide.
Don't make an ass of yourself.
Don't completely blame it on dice, even if it is true.
Don't eliminate people first turn.
Don't ruin the fun for everyone. We all notice.
Don't break a treaty unexpectedly.
Don't take 22+ hours to make a turn every time.
Don't get mad at people for knocking you out. It's a game.
Don't insult people for playing differently to you. Unless they suicide. Then insult them.
Do say good luck and good game at appropriate times.
Do think about your strategy beforehand.
