Hecter being a mod?

I can't believe this is still going on. It's worst than when I told AK to make Hecter in the Mod Squad, oh man, that was a time.

This is just dead. Hecter won't be a mod if he keeps spamming, and I doubt he'll make a mod ever.

You don't deserve to be a mod simply because you have less of a life than the rest of us (i.e., more posts).

Making hecter a mod for the reasons that have been posted in this topic would imply that everyone who hangs around the site long enough should be a mod. Conquer Club is not an irc chat room, and this would be setting a bad standard. If the site really needs another mod for some reason or another I hope they find whoever is most qualified, and if that is hecter fine, if it is not fine. But they shouldn't just add mods for the sake of having more, there has to be a need not being fulfilled.

no the thread won't die until people admit that its the mod's decision who becomes a mod. he isn't gonna be a mod. i suggested it in the first place in this thread simply as an idea cos i thought it could work but i also wanted it to spark off other ideas.

please just let it die. pestering mods is not going to help

Well since it is up here anyway. This poll doesn't actually accomplish anything regardless. Thinking hecter would make a good mod and thinking hecter should be a mod are two different things. I don't think hecter would be a bad mod, but I don't think hecter should be one. For reasons posted previously.
