I'm skeptical about the regional traveller claim. My role is definitely a DnD class, regional traveller sounds like a NPC role to me...

On the other hand, an unblockable kill could be very useful on the Cult Leader if we find out who it is.

betiko ~ Nerisella Rubymace ~ Cop ~ Good/Neutral Dwarf Rogue has been modkilled.

I warned him of Rule 1, and he continued to push an issue. This isn't a game where the Mod is a player. My word is law and if I say an action will get you modkilled, I am not kidding.

With this I am tempted to end the day as I think he was a likely lynch target. If you agree with decision vote No Lynch, if not vote whoever you desire, it matters little to me.

This, in case you were misunderstanding. Clearly names you as a rogue to any native English speaker who is remotely familiar with DnD. Beyond that your class has zero bearing beyond flavor. Perhaps I shouldn't have confirmed it, but really what I should have done is run the PMs through another proofread before posting, I mad a few minor mistakes across a few posts.

However let me point out a few things from the OP

1. The moderator is always right. Do not try and argue with them. However we are all human and we all make mistakes. The moderator will try and fix any mistake he or she may have made.

13. If you have any questions or doubts, send a private message to the moderator and ask for help. It would be much worse to remain unsure about your role, mafia rules, whatever than to ask the moderator and then understand

These are the first and last rules. They are the only two that really mater. Bring this up again and I will modkill you.

Anyways, sometimes written expression can lead to missinterpretations. The way I ve read your PMs so far is within a vindictive and condescendent tone towards me. Maybe you were not at all, but after each new pm it seems like you are. You ought to be respected as a mod, but you need to respect people back for that relationship to work.

Modkilling me for this is absolutely up to you, if you think what I did is worth it. Asslicking has never really been my cup of tea, and I don't think any of my PMs were inapropriate nor that I need to apologize for anything.

Also @ aage. Nothing that he posted was modkill worthy, although his post about his role was giving me a headache, it was PMs that he stepped way out of line.

Agree'd and unvote I don't see the point in lynching Jonty ATM, but since we just lost our cop... it'll get harder to check what he does. Rather busy, but trying to keep read up. Should be able to do some good amount of posting this weekend if all goes well.

Well if you believe there is an error in your role PM, you could have PMed edoc privately before posting in the game thread about your "rouge" role. I myself have PMed the mod of the game several times to get clarification about roles and WC's without divulging any of that information in thread first. That would be the main thing I would say.

Secondly, indeed, the mod sets the rules. Again, if you believe he did something wrong, it can be handled in PM's. We're human too, I've made mistakes modding, but again, betiko wouldn't be in this situation if he had straight PM'ed edoc about his role before posting about it in the game thread.

And finally, if this was an issue true to several PM's, it serves as a clarification for all. Could edoc have sent a PM with all the rogues BCCed? Of course he could. But this then goes back to betiko posting about the spelling in the game thread. I think edoc felt compelled to post the announcement in the game thread because betiko brought it up in the game thread.

Modkilling happens, I got hit with one in Christopher Nolan Mafia. Remember, when in doubt, PM the mod first.

Like WHY are you lawful instead of good/netural? Is there a reasoning/motivation?

And also can you share why you have an unblockable kill?

I just feel like between lawful and this unblockable kill, jonty is hiding something from his PM.

Just caught up. My internet was down for a couple of days. Not sure if I believe Jonty or not. Seems odd that he has the kill to me. Not that I know loads about flavour but it seems odd.

I think jonty sounds like the equivalent to some kind of 3rd party survivor role. Commutes are strictly self-preservation, and RB'ing and unblockable kills sound like chaos if you ask me.

I'm not familiar at all with DnD, so I can't comment on the flavor too much. Regional traveler sounds weird, but I really have no idea.

Re: NL--I won't be upset if we'd rather go NL but, as I mentioned above, jonty's abilities strike me as chaotic which means there's a decent chance he's lying about his role.

I'll be busy this weekend, but I'll make an effort to get back before the deadline.
