Hmm I think that AK's claim seems plausible. I am still not completely convinced of Ank innocence since it's easy to claim vanilla.

If I were the mafia though and knew that AK was innocent and figured that he was really going to use his power tonight on someone innocent I would decline to use my power so that AK would get his kill and it would make AK look very bad the next day and ensure his lynch.

Since there are no real leads it's hard who to know to vote for. For now I'll keep my vote on Ank.

FYI, I checked on Aim. He said he wouldn't be on until later Tuesday (today) in another thread, and didn't post at all yesterday. I think he does have exams.

Well, I've played and won this game a number of times, so, if Xen is keeping it close to context, then there WAS no vigilante of any type...

Yep. Finally over though; I've had a pretty horrendously busy 48 hours or so. sorry for disappearing.

As for what I think: hmmm. Narc is still the top of my suspect list, although I know I'm going to draw more heat for saying that. I can halfway buy his argument that he's taking it easy because he doesn't have to deal with n00bs.

mandalorian is second, for a couple of reasons, both of the meta-gaming. First, he keeps mischaracterizing what I say (the repeated emphasis on a miscount of my voting patterns), which I've noticed he does when he's scum. And second - and this is even more tenuous - in every game in which he's scum and I'm not that we've played in, he's tried to go after me.

Well, with the deadline coming up, I'll just go ahead and vote the top of my list. Vote: Anarkistsdream. Okay, mandy, now I've made five votes today.

If we don't reach a consensus, I'll change my vote to whomever has the most votes at then end, to try to ensure a lynch (on the basis that lynching a townie on day one is better than a no lynch).

"Kill or be killed" sounds like SK to me, and how could the main character be a "townie with one shot?" Iceman said he wouldn't use his "one bullet" unless he had to...this means if he is SK, he could still kill each night and claim that someone else was making the kills.

This is a good point.

At the very least, claiming one-shot vig is enough to give AK a free Day 1 pass in my book. I'll reassess things as the game progresses, but I don't particularly think he should be our lynch today - although it does disturb me a bit that he claimed with so little pressure.

I highly doubt the James Earl Cash role would be a one-shot vig. I thought he might be a vig, but not one-shot. He might be one-shot due to size, but I doubt it highly. Since this is a game with people of greater skill than others, I would guess that Xen would be able to trust the vig to have at least a little common sense and not be trigger happy.
