i belive that i find best option ,who are accepted for high and low ranked players,and give chance to everybody. Alos i belive that have enough support to be submited. To be implemented, well i not decide that,these decide lack,and other high ranked MOds. If you have some sugestions,please post, so wecan discused.

This is all I ask for in submitting a suggestion. If the OP (or anyone else who is active in the thread, but primarily the OP) believes the suggestion has reached it's full potential, and no reasons are brought up as to why it shouldn't be implemented. I will send it further.

Could the OP please collect some of his stnces and a Q&A in his first post?
e.g. This medal can easely be won by taking a specialist map and inviting half he noob userbase. Some will undoubtly accept.
Is there anything in this propossal to counter abuse or are we going to get another round of incriminations of farming?

After all part of the 'farming is allowed' attitude of CC is that people have a choise and points do not really matter all that much, either in status on the site or any other benefits... As a medal hunter i would always accept the creation of new medals (with the failed opposition to freestyle BR medals) However this suggestion directly implies that those who play a lot, against noobs, will get a medal if i understood the proposal correctly.

Everybody's score is reset, for the purpose of the monthly MVP only, via a side board.

Problem
I know my way around a certain map. i get to play 100 noobs whose mvp points i will take to create a niffty new rank. I might fail sometimes and loose part of my current rank, but its the medal that I am after! Thus you would award a medal to players who will for all intends and purposes tries to farm, hardcore... the more farming the more effect.
I predict an increase in the abuse of invites ect ect.

I can also see positive things. This will certainly give a player a reason to keep playing. It might even induce players to start playing a lot more...

Now what I do not understand is, why not simply give a medal to the current Conqueror. After all he or she really spends most of the time being really good in CC. Is that not a much more objective standard???

first of all=do we dont have rules against farming?
second, many low ranked players want to have equal chance for these medal,and these is best option for any rank to be in cometition for medal.
third- i doubth that these will fair decision to give conqueror mvp medal,because in one month he only can sit in first place,and try to play less games,to save hes points- and these not deserve to get medal for mvp.
These option so far give to all 20000 player equal chance for MVP medal, no mather what you are rank in regular board.

secondly, no, rank is relative, but the more games you play and with a decent winpercentage and against low ranked players will net you more points for this specific medal...

Now there is only 1 way I see this working and that is in a tournament. A fixed amount of players, maybe even a fixed amount of games, but then we have this already and it is rewarded by the GA award!

Overall, I do not dislike the suggestion, in fact I would lov a chance. But the details need to be more worked out, and a solution to the problems mentioned above should be made, and they should not entail rules chances, extra policing or both

Tournament? how you think to create tournament for 20000 players, to be fair competition? Dont forget ,for these MVP tittle, everybodu need to have equal chances to compete.

If you would base the mvp on the player with the greaters pointbased jump, then getting a low rank before attempting this would be cricial. i can see this not being an option. However if you make a full reset (for the monthly mvp board only) and thereby equalize blitz with an 500 point noob, where blitz gets 20 points for his efforts in beating said noob, how can this ever be considered fair? Then the award will go not to the best player(whatever your criteria), but to the player who plays the most noobs in the most games!

point 2. tournament mvp.
with the tournement everybody gets a fair chance, but you only participate out of choice. a requirement would be that people could play a site automated tournament. this is mre fair because of the more limited scope of players, the more limited score of games played and thereby the truly best player will rise through the ranks to face against the best of the other players. you can do this with a fixed groups who pass on after a series of games or in a knockout system, either way, the rules will be clear to everybody upfront and just trying to play noobies is no longer a possibility. those players meating me or blitz are still screwed though

as to farming for other medals, this already happens, but since you can only ever have 3 medals in most categories, whats the point byond getting them?
I am doing quite nicely with my limited amount of games, but if i had played as many as ironmaid, then I too would have had all gold medals. If i ever joined as many tournaments as Highlander Attack then i too would have had much mre tournament medals then now, and if I had been allowed to Join Thota, I too would have had 7 clan wins instead of 2(out of a possible 3 because i did not play enough game sin that other win)...
And with regard to clanwins, look at OSA who has played more then 6 clanwars in the last 2 months...

so yea a certain amount of effort is required, but there is farming and there is farming.... your original proposal makes it attractive for a highranker to ambush a lowranker with games and invites. I am signalling this. if you can find a way to stop that, then i would gladly vote yes.

so far, on that last part, i have not heard it yet

The more I think about it, the more unworkable this seems...a month is quite simply too short of a time period to be meaningful. Perhaps doing it once per quarter might be more intelligent?

Think about how many games last at least two weeks, many that last much more than that. The poor sequential no spoils player has no chance here.

like i say,tournament for MVP of Month its not possibile, because look on Highlander Attack tournament who have 2500 players,he can last for year.
As for farming,well first you need to point finger and acuse someone to be farmer. Any previous attempts, when people acuse someone to be farmer, will not backed by mods, and i dont have power to someone say,that he its a farmer,if mods think opposite.
Im all ready write in first page first post, abouth that, and every month,mods have last word to announce MVP of THe month,if everything all ok, if they assume that something are wrong,and that player who pretend on MVP tittle abusse sustem in any way,then no2 will get medal.

I know its short, but these is in all sports who have award for MVP- for example EUROLEAGUE have MVP of the MONTH, and how many games they play in one month. or week.
Also these medal are only limited in one per month, and if we shrt these to 3 month, then in one year you will award only 4 medal. Even now 12 medal per year its not to big number to award. I even think that maybe can introduce Gold Silver and Bronze medal for these achivement, because will increase number of people who can be awarded from 12 to 36 in year. I even think that these medal wil increase number of games per month, because many player will get new chalenge medal to try to achive.

then you misjudge automation.
you can certainly automate a league and then pick the best winner/rankhoarder/other criteria every month. it just remains to be seen if that is wanted..

your second point is about farming. there have been clear rules about what constitutes bannable farming, they all include nr's exclusifly. So i am talking about me taking on a cook for the sake of his monthly points... and i expect to win even though my normal rank would suffer... thats farming to me, and thats pretty clear and thats not something you want on this site, trust me on that. just saying that the mods should just evaluate every game is pretty.. well you think of the expletive, i am going to do someting worthwile with my time...

anyways. i consider your non rebuttal to not be a solution to the problem. so i am going to try to approach it from a different point of view. why should lack ever want to create the mvp medal? CC is supposed to be a casual game. You should not create a medal for a type of play that only those with no life can accomplish. after all, you win only because you play a huge amount of games, hell you dont even need to be good at it, just semi proficient...

what more do you need to prove my point, would a math example help?

first-tournament- do you realised that in these way you will not alove half of active player to be in position to compete for MVP? I want to everybody (over 20000) to be in these position to compete for MVP.

I dont want farming, like im all ready explane, but Mods will investigate winner, or maybe 10 first player in MVP scoreboard, and if they belive that some player brake any rule, he will not get medal. what other you can propose.

You have 48 medals, i have almost 60, these medals give interesting view of CC, and give you some goals to achive medal, and also you need to enjoy in games, and if you get medal,its good,if not again its good.
I belive that lack introduce medals, so that CC become more interesting place, and now you want to find all negative in these sugestion. If some people are "crazy" abouth these game, and play 30000 or more games here in CC (you have list with most finished games player), these mean that these players love these game, if they play 100 games or more, to achive these medal( in ok way), i dont see where is problem here.
Personaly,i belive that mine chance to get these medal are close to zero, but i though, why not have these, so that many people who play here for 5 years(incuding me), get every time something new,and also every new features, every new medal, are good for CC.
Ofcourse, many medals ,or cards, some people dont like, and some like, but what its most importan,people have many options ,and can decide what to play,what will be hes goals, what medal they want to have.
Its not real life- you dont get pay for your job ofdiscussion moderator, i dont get pay for maps, and i dont get pay for creating sugestions, but these not stop me to try to be creative, and to give something what will bring CC to high level, what all other Risk related site dont have, and what Lack create to be one of best risk sites.

A group that can vote at the end of each month, and decide If the person on the top of this list deserves the medal or not? Most players have a general idea of what would be considered farming but not technically against the rules of "farming". I think this would be a great Idea and new thing for CC if we could come up with a system to correctly give this achievement away.

Well its only best solution for MVP, and to not create some new specific point calculations.
And its easy to implement, because point calculation are same like all time scoreboards, except this are each 1st in month be reset to 800.
