Well, in the past 2 weeks, it has been SUPER laggy. it is especially tough for all the freestylers. do you guys know of the problem and know how to fix it? because ever since that last update, its been real bad. thanks for your time.

It's not jut FS, it's all games. The time between attacks has always been superbly fast for me. This week: 40 seconds per one. It's ridiculous.

yeah, I noticed that too. its getting extremely painful for the 25 games I play. it takes just too long for me to take my moves

Terrible lag - I'm assuming financials are dictating the investment in network connectivity and server capacity.

Looks like cc may be headed down the toilet.

I've gone from sub second response to just brutal lag in all games.

It's much worse lately but this has been a trend for a while.

FS is really a thing of the past for me as it's much to painful to play.

my response time was getting bad but once i converted from BOB over to the new panel, it is quicker than ever. Are you using BOB or any other add-on's when playing?

BOB requires cpu, so that's a problem in your end.

Right but the question is still valid. If they have these add-ons and are getting poor response times, it could be due to their CPU as well. It's easy to blame the site for this as this is the only site that would be slowed down by using the BOB add on...

I was troubleshooting the issue rather than trying to explain to them why they might be experiencing what they might feel as lag.

No the thing is whenever I play F, or if I don't need BOB, I always leave it off.

The possibilities are endless, including they all living in the same neighboorhod and having problems with their ISP, it's unlikely however. I have disabled BOB because it has a lot of issues with the recent changes and I've experienced those random moments of unresponsiveness.

It'll be easier if this was addressed by blake or someone else, and tell us if all these are temporary problems due to work being done on the server end, or is it a problem of the hosting company or if there's been change on the hosting company..

Agreed especially since it does not seem to be consistent as I have not experienced any lag for 4-5 days. Perhaps I'm just choosing the best times to play.

not BOB because I turned it off and I still have the same problem. also, it isn't my connection or anything because I play other computer games and xbox games and I don't lag one bit. it has just started with the new updates that have been coming out, and I know that it has messed up things between BOB and the game itself. so I presume that the admins and staff teams will be able to fix it then.

Incredible lag ... all games nearly all the time now. 24-hr games as well as speed. The lag has been off and on for about a week now., but moreso this evening.

I don't use BOB, never have.

Someone please look into this thank you in advance.

It's not BOB it's not clickies and it's not peoples comps - this is server side lag pure and simple.
They have either completely fucked up the code or scaled back on server size/network to save money.
I tried playing at 4:00 am EST just to see what the experience would be like a i had several periods where i was back to millisecond response obviously because there was no one on the server.
Not even any speed games up.
Playing during the day I'm having to wait 5 seconds to find out the result of an attack.
This is ridiculous - take any future dev money for pretty conquer stars and spend it on getting the site working properly.
Think CAPACITY/CODE/DATABASE TUNING.....
I'm getting Big Wham'd up the ass every day.

I'm getting lag in the evenings. I am not experiencing any lag in the morning/afternoon.

Is cc renting the new servers and throttling them back during the evening to save some $$?
