Ok everyone, the current scoreboard for the December challenge is updated with all completed games.

You can find it here

So far there are 304 participants and 42 medal winners.

I didn't win my own challenge. How embarrassing.

The January challenge is already more popular than the Decemeber one. I'm going to need some help tabbing scores maybe.

This is going to be a nightmate for you doom... Maybe you could ask blake to work on a tool to calculate this automatically each time for you?

Also what does wip means?

Nice medal, I especially like the way it has a link back to this thread. (Link is on the one shown on the profile page, in case anyone is wondering)

Phew, I didn't think I would make December's point limit. Just barely made it, with a few ongoing games still.

I didn't try for December and not sure I'll get the points for KotM, such a horribly luck dependant map.

Wooah, a new challenge, I totally missed seeing it before since there was no notice for it. I was wondering when the January Monthly would appear in Announcements. :( Oh well, recycling saves the environment so I won't complain.

It is in the Announcements...:)

However, the Announcements bar only shows the three most recent, but you can click "More" and see all the others that have come by in recent times.

I think going forward doom is going to do a new thread every time there is a new challenge so this issue won't happen in the future.

This.

Doom and I had originally planned to keep all challenges in this thread.
We had thought that each new post would bring it to the top of the Announcements forum, but this is, unfortunately, not the case.

Just finally looked at the challenge to start trying to play it for this month and it's escalating and trench? Worst two combinations you can do. I'll just skip this month. If it was anything else and trench, I'd be game. Or escalating and not trench, but those games are just made for stalemates and waiting for the round limit.

Truuu.

If a challenge needs several wins of varying kinds, escalating and trench can be a unique gameplay choice in certain cases. But when the challenge calls for spamming the same gametype over and over, that gametype should be one that is exciting and engaging with each new game. This is not, in my humble opinion. Thanks for your work here! I do appreciate it a lot. But some challenges lately have felt more like work than a show of any merit.

as someone who loves trench, i love it, it would be easier if it wasnt trench, trench can be grueling, but i think thats kinda what makes it a challenge....
