dahhhhh it is your fault if you make a RT game, and someone unknowingly joins the game, because it isn't password protected!WNxHotSoup wrote: It is also not their fault when someone joins there game not knowing it was a rt.
WNxHotSoup wrote: Secondly. We (me and the other guy) got annoyed that he was a dead beat. Is this our fault? Is this offensive in any way?
What rules state you can express your displeasure... I don't blame him for dead beating one bit.WNxHotSoup wrote: We are aloud to express our displeasure at him not being there in any way we please to a point, as the rules state.
exactly! you didn't think about anything, like making a pass protected game, or posting a gripe, and then not expecting people to tell you are completely wrong.WNxHotSoup wrote: I didnt think
WNxHotSoup wrote: We do take the risk, but we are still allowed to gripe about it if it fails.
This is NOT a gambling site! and no one wants to see you cry when you make a mistake.WNxHotSoup wrote: Ask any gambler. They know they can lose money, but they can still complain if they lose it. People are aloud to complain. Deal with it.
WNxHotSoup wrote: Thirdly. Attila never apologized. Period.
WNxHotSoup wrote: He started by saying how it was our fault he joined and messed up the rt.
IT IS YOUR FAULT! GET IT! DON'T DO IT AGAIN!WNxHotSoup wrote: I know, it wasnt pw;ed, we take the chance that it might be gotten by someone who thinks its a normal game. This does not, in any way, mean its our fault.
I am glad he did that.. Maybe others will get the message and quit making RT games without it being private.WNxHotSoup wrote:He posted this instantly, instead of trying to apologize to try to patch things up. He just put the blame on us for him not knowing.
He did not make a mistake, you made the stupid mistake and it is you to blame!!WNxHotSoup wrote: I know, he made a honest mistake,
Where does it say in the rules you have to go to the live chat before you join a game... Most people care enough to make a RT private. Like I said before,WNxHotSoup wrote:check the live chat before joining normal games to make sure im not being a dead beat to any rts. I care whether or not i effect others games. Apparently, from what i hear, im the only one who cares enough to take the 15 seconds it takes. Odd that.
Nice analogy!WNxHotSoup wrote:Its not hypocritical. Its not a poker players fault his opponent gets a flush and he only have 3 of a pair, But he knew the possibility of it.
This pretty much means i can complain. As you said, suck it up."Trash-talking" can be a fun element of the game and we take a liberal stance on what is allowed to be said in game chat. If one player offends another we generally do not want to get involved. However, in cases of extreme obscenity or extreme harassment (in our judgement) we may take disciplinary action against the offending member.
Mistake:honorable in principles, intentions, and actions; upright and fair
an error in action, calculation, opinion, or judgment caused by poor reasoning, carelessness, insufficient knowledge, etc.
Wrong. I reviewed the game. You called him a deadbeat without cause. Then when he told you he didn't know it was RT - you kept on going.WNxHotSoup wrote:Crap, ok 3 of a kind, grr! Anyway, i never chewed him out. He chewed me out and i defended myself.
