IMO if IAC does flip scum, makes no sense for 1 scum team to use all their powers on myself. I would go on to say that IAC is not connected to TFO or Rugbirn. Would that make sense to you?

as i pointed out in my previous post, a watcher can be confirmed, that part might be true, but that does not mean he is town. cooldeals outing adds up to my speculation

There's always possibilities in mafia....busdriver included. Currently I'm saying I think he is a Scum Watcher if no further evidence presents itself. Each additional twist is statistically less probable than the first even though possible. e.g. the odds of me targeting IAC and him getting busdriven the same night are much less than me targeting IAC and him not being busdriven.

With a Hank claim and no counter-claim, we are pretty much forced to lynch iAmCaffeine. It is possible that cd was busdriven by chance, but the odds are fairly low. (Assuming the hypothetical busdriver is town, Rodion is right that we should wait for everyone to chime in). Presumably this means, given TFO's information, that Caff is a mafia watcher. (Or that one of TFO and Caff is, and they're scum buddies -- it would have been a good play if they didn't know about the lucky investigation).

I watched because I figured you would be a prime target for a mafia kill and if that did happen then I would at least have clues as to who made the kill, if not confirmed evidence.

Ok I think I need to come out and say this. I've been holding this back to gauge people's reactions today and to get 1 scum fake claim out of the way. When iAmCaffeine claimed watcher with results I didn't know what to think because in my 7-8 games or so I've never seen a scum watcher. It appears this is possible though so I feel I need to claim.

I am Hank Schrader and I am the town cop. Last night I investigated iAmCaffeine and I got a result of Mafia.

You also need to consider the fact that there could be a Framer. For those unaware, that means they choose a player and if that player is investigated they are reported as mafia when in fact they are not.

Also, a "Scum Watcher" is called a Stalker.

I checked IAC because I thought his play was slightly scummy on D1. I went through 3 or 4 different users posts from D1 whom I had a feeling from about their comments during the night before I sent in my action. When I went through all of IAC comments he seemed to play who I would think scum would play. I can't remember all of it because I've been super focused on all of D2 trying to find who agrees with Caff, who tries to divert attention toward and away from him etc since I got my result. But I remember some of the things I thought about and remember it was D1 so they were all WIFOM until I got my result:

1) He made sure to vote and have an opinion but not on a case that would take and not on the Townie.
2) He posted quite often comments that were meant to be helpful (game setup opinions, opinions on how people play, whether OMGUS is bad) but I didn't find it really helpful
3) Several other people were suspicious of him at one time and he didn't handle X-Stor-X's pressure well
4) I didn't see anything that screamed townie to me.

4 was probably the most important. With all the other three people I looked through I saw something in their posts that I thought I might do or say if I was town but I didn't see anything in his.

So now that I've said all that I'd like to post a few reads of my own. I assume I will be protected, watched, etc as much as possible you never know. Baring we have a bus driver or something when Caff turns scum I will assume Betiko is town or at least not part of iAmCaffeine's faction. Scum would not start a case on a scummate and push that hard. That's the only read I'm sure of.

SuperKeener built some town credit with me on D2.
To me jonty seems to have tried to divert attention away from Caff. WIFOM, but something I would look into. I'm not talking about the busdriver comment, but earlier in the day.
I thought maybe Rodion was trying to divert attention from Caff but in the end his case seemed too towniesh to me.
I also don't like some of rishaed's posts but again...WIFOM.

We have to play the odds. It is possible that the framer will continue to get lucky (assuming you don't publicize who you're investigating), but we should assume the opposite, since statistically it's unlikely.

I have always had a FOS on your role (nothing personal as I understand how difficult being thrown into this ring has been on short notice) since D1. However, since you have been here, I can't see where you have been advancing the town's position in identifying scum. Now that CD has claimed, my vote may change, but you need to produce something worthwhile for my FOS to disappear.
