i have read the announcement about the testing site but i honestly have no idea how this works or where do i have to go to test it.

Essentially, there's a "dummy" CC site that lets us play the maps before they are placed live. This helps find any XML issues or gameplay issues before hitting the real world.

I've already sent a PM to IcePack to let you and zimmah into the usergroup that gives you access to this site. I'm sure he will send you a PM explaining what to do. In fact, there's really nothing to do...it's just access to a secret forum.

the only issue I have seen so far is that the Kysuce small coordinates are a bit off.

I guess the territory label was moved some time and i forgot to update the XML accordingly.

In fact I think the Bratislava Airport and Bratislava itself are not exactly underneath each other either (off by 1 or 2 pixels). I'll fix that too. It's pretty distracting.

Moved Kysuce on the small map 10 pixels to the left and 4 to the top.
Moved Bratislava airport on the small map 2 pixels to the right.
Changed the neutral at Stredné Považie and Dolný Zemplín from 2 to 3 (for some reason they were both 2)

Dim, posting it here as this is the smallest map you brought back, but can you have a think of any restrictions you might want to make on these maps. We can now block any setting from being played on a map. So if you want only doubles, no nuclear spoils or can only be played with by 4 people, please post what you would like in the maps thread. As long as you have a good enough reason for it to happen, you should get it.

that's because we stamped the gameplay with n2 neutrals on both. bratislava has n3 neutrals because it's a single-region bonus.

To be honest after playing some games on the map i think i prefer the 2's anyway, the 3's make a pretty big blockade on a map this small, breaking them is pretty costly.

Let it be known that this map is now ready for BETA Play. After an extended period of time in BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into Full Play (barring any Admins or Foundry Foreman vetoes).

• 1. Please ensure that the first post of the thread contains all the necessary information to help future visitors to the development thread; it's particularly important to ensure the most recent images are there, along with any helpful guides (such as gameplay quirks/nuances or the location/size of any starting neutrals etc.)
  2. It is the responsibility of the mapmaker(s) to ensure that they respond to further feedback in a timely and constructive manner.
  3. Write a "creative" map description and send it to the Foundry Foreman via PM. You're encouraged to post it into the first post of the thread as well; the description will be used to populate the maps database.
