If the wings lose, you can just give the cup to canada, the wings will take the cup over the sens, however no way in hell the ducks are going to beat the sens, not a chance the way they have been playing.

They should have never even have won game 5! So lucky!

I still have to say no matter what the outcome is, I want to kill Teemu.

I really hope that the Wings win to, because then there would be more hockey in the finals, just like what you said Jet, the Ducks would not stand a chance vs. the Sens, but if it were the Wings and the Sens, then that would be a better final.

yeah, I'm down, but not mad. I was mad at the start of the third, but once Detroit made it a game, I can't be mad. Down, yeah... not mad. Ah well, Canada needs the cup once a decade.

I am very satisfied by the Wings this year though. They played better in the playoffs than they have in a long time. Babcock is a keeper. The team has a great balance of older and younger players. However, I would hope we can get another goalie. Hasek is amazing, but he can't keep playing forever. Plus the way he plays is kind of out of control.

Here's a thought... Filpula was amazing (for a rookie not named Crosby, Malkin or Ovechkin) this year, especially playoffs, didn't play like a rookie. Lang... didn't do much. Resign Schnieder and Bertuzzi (who wasn't NEAR 100%), maybe Calder too (had to be hurt), don't sign Lang, and use his money to get a goalie (though I don't know who's available). Give more ice time to Filpula, maybe make a trade involving Hudler for a netminder (availability), see how that Grigorenko kid looks, or another up and coming kid. The team overall is good though.

Oh my f*cking god... I had about fifteen heart attacks during that period... good on the wings, man. They'll be back... Besides, I was right there with ya last season, when the ducks got knocked out of the semis by the loathsome oilers...

Speak for thyself, good sir. If Canada wants their cup back, they're gonna have to earn it. The ducks didn't play super well against the wings, but they're still a lethal, elite team. Cup's comin' to Socal, baby!
