And that is exactly what I did. I thought that was a good strategy too when I realized my target would deadbeat but my new target had gone unchecked for 3 rounds and his target was almost gone. there really is no way to defend against a deadbeat in an assassin game.hwhrhett wrote:any player worth his salt in assassin games would recognize early when your target is going to deadbeat. if someone misses a turn, maybe you shouldnt go full force attacking them this round, hold on those armies, line them up, and wait. being a fool is no reason to change the rules.
going full out is what i did do, that was why both targets ended up with one territory left and then i get a new one to work on, wheeeeeehwhrhett wrote:any player worth his salt in assassin games would recognize early when your target is going to deadbeat. if someone misses a turn, maybe you shouldnt go full force attacking them this round, hold on those armies, line them up, and wait. being a fool is no reason to change the rules.

That is what happens, but it's still unfair because you don't know who their target was, so you can't set yourself up as well.Pious wrote:Perhaps if someone deadbeats in assassin, you get their target and the game moves on?
Not sure if that's what already happens, I've never had that happen to me (fortunately).
