Why?macbone wrote:I like the idea of random settings, but adding a tic for each individual setting seems a bit much.

I agree completely, but I don't think having a random option for each variable makes anything more complicated. It's not like it's a new setting that people won't understand the function of - it's very straightforward. I would even argue it makes starting games more simple for newer players who don't understand the various settings.macbone wrote:Feature creep, Caffeine. Maybe instead of 'random' on each variable there could be an organised column of boxes to one side; you select whichever boxes you want click 'randomise', or something to that effect?Swifte wrote:I really like this idea... especially being able to pick it selectively for various items. I understand the concern about the start a game screen though... hmm.

I knew someone would take the joke seriously.dakky21 wrote:As per my original idea, round length can't be random, as if you get 1 minute speed when the last player joins the game, he will probably win it, because other players will deadbeat at that moment.

I dont think it will be that bad.macbone wrote:Feature creep, Caffeine. Every new tic makes the game finder/creation page that much more complex.

That was the original idea... Since it is a total random game idea.Endgame422 wrote:Instead how about an single tic that randomized all settings except number of players game type and round length. This way you could have random settings without adding a bunch of space to the game page.
