I just don't get how they keep playing Welbeck. It's a spot wasted.

Incredible that Costa Rica goes though in that group... and with a serious chance of reaching the 1/4. Good to see.

I once watched a 2006 world cup Costa Rica match in a bar / restaurant in Costa Rica. I remember sitting on a long bench in front of a TV.

I know a number of people from England personally and they all say this is what they deserved.
As for Costa Rica, I'm amazed, but oh so happy. I hope they manage another miracle in the knock-out phase, just to shake up the common WC teams.

The French/Swiss match was a lot better game
than the score indicates.
Costa Rica is a feisty crew.

it's a shame france's 6th goal didn't count. benzema had a great game and he would have deserved it.

5-2 sounds like a good game to me.
Sure you meant competitive though in which you would be wrong, Switzerland suck.

Agghhh should have scored there. Ecuador are a shower of scumbags and deserve to get their ass kicked.

I hate when Americans try to use "international" soccer words like "pitch", " nil", etc. Its fucking "field" and "nothing" you stupid cunts.

hehe, france played pretty well, I guess I overestimated a bit our opponents. I had bets on benzema scoring (gosh was pissed when he failed the penalty!) and ecuador winning.

You can replace "coaches" with "players" and make it even more true.

cherry picker, picking the best of versus the worst of.
France looked great, well spaced and stayed in lanes on attack, a lot of one touch passes, well coached.
