Do you deny scientists were persecuted for beliefs that were at odds with religion?

Or, perhaps you are saying the bible is silent on the issue but the church certainly wasn't. Therefore, man interpreted and applied beliefs to the bible that weren't actually in it.

It's possible to murder in a loving way, out of love.

To murder out of love maybe doesn't chime with the children's coloring in book, Hollywood la-la land that a lot of people's minds seem to inhabit, but it's still possible.
