Why did the panels get messed up?

I come home pick up my iPad and now I have to to landscape mode. I can't display the map and info at the same time. What got changed, why, how do I put it back or how do I make this work for me?

A little warning of major interface changes please? Some instruction on how to use the new changes would also be helpful. A key to the new symbols that appear above the map.

How do I even play on a mobile device if I can't see information next to the map?

Do I have to write it all down on paper to play?

It's optimized for landscape mode, it's part of new mobile / tablet interface.
It's non optional (no opt in / out feature)

Just tried one simple game. Half the time while in landscape no troop counts displayed. I had to go to the top menu (listing go games) and then back in again to get numbers. It's like playing blind when I can't have any info next to the map. Why would I play on my iPad at all with these handicaps.

Oh and by the way, the whole map will not display on my screen in landscape mode.

Not sure why your troops aren't showing, I haven't found that issue on my iPad.
What add ons and settings etc are you playing on? What map?

I am using only the CC control panels. I was playing 13 Colonies.

How do you get information to display next to the map?

Okay on my main computer, a mac, I can run the games with the info showing in Firefox and Safarii. Still can't display the whole map on my iPad. Nor have the info next to the map. So essentially can't play on my iPad.

Logged in on my mobile. No panels visible whatsoever. Could Begin, take and end turn but nothing was available by way of info. No troop summary, no chat, no log. I play on this device most of the time and if it's not fixed quickly it's game over for me

Another issue that just started within the last 1/2 hour
The Map image does not show up
In order to get the Map Image to appear ...
I have to click on Map Size link

If I turn panel interface off, I at least get a playable game. It's back to the zero information kind. What I had on my iPad before CC gave us that nice aid to mobile gaming. How can something that is supposed to improve mobile gaming reek such havoc.

If a new mobile interface comes out, how will we know. Can I suggest a pm to everyone who belongs to CC.

Can I also suggest the next time you do these changes at least warn people they are coming.

As per the PM I sent you yesterday. In addition to that it frequently needs a page refresh when you begin a turn to resolve the bug that sees the drop down for assault become empty.

Yeah, we are looking into that one still. Its intermittent and a more difficult bug to figure out / track. But, its on the radar atm.
Lots has changed since the PM yesterday, which is why I'm asking for new details.

Still experiencing the request for landscape mode, when it doesn't fit the screen. Still don't have any information next to the map unless I turn panels off. Trying to play the map when I can't even reference troop strength of the other players is stupid, crazy to do.

Just to verify, I logged in on my iPad just now. and the above is true. So basically I am back to square one. Nothing that you have added since BigWham took over works on the tablet. (And I liked those changes.)

And I just discovered, Watch This Game, has gone away. That will make running tournaments just that much more aggravating.

Request for landscape is going to happen if your vertical, that's how it's optimized right now. So, it's a message your supposed to get. If u are on landscape and getting the msg that's something we can look @. What mode are you wanting to play in panels or not? It's unclear.

Panels on the i should give u information , no panels the i doesn't provide info as it shouldn't get hidden.

Add ons can be addressed in the tools area.

So if I understand correctly, I am never going to have information next to the map with panels turned on. Is that correct?

And if it is, how does this make tablet play better? Because I sure don't see it.

I loved playing in panels and had all the information at my fingertips. Finally I had Bob capabilities on my ipad. Now they are essentially gone again. Having the info one or two pages away doesn't work.

What does the 4 arrow thing do? I get nothing when I try to use it (with panels on).

It's a "full screen" link. Looking into it, apparently something that won't work on Apple devices in the iOS 7 update.

Ah, I understand now why CC's interface hasn't really changed for me on ipod. I don't use the panels. Hm.
