As a supposedly rational adult in a position of mild authority I'm sure you'll appreciate the fact in the absence of regular and clear official statements, we are forced to judge your actions as they appear. You're far from perfect, and a bit of active scrutiny of your 'moderating' is something that's clearly in CC's interest; as the recent deletion incident proved.

You have fun searching out those infractions though. Did you ever delete that duplicate thread posted by a non-Spamaloter which I sent you a PM about? No? How odd, must have slipped your mind eh?

Ok GM, this 1 time I will provide you with some facts just to show that you have no idea what you're talking about.

There are over 50 names on our Signature Offender list, less than 10 of them being Spamalot members.

Moz started sending warnings to people because he felt it was getting out of hand, and I joined him.

Here is the PM we send to people...

Your current signature is in violation of our signature requirements of 150 pixels high by 600 pixels wide. Please make the proper adjustments to get your signature within the site requirements.

Unfortunately, the system is not automated so we really only warn people as we see it. Spamalot members are generally post whores, and also like to compensate for lack of intelligence with overly large signatures. It's no wonder why so many have been warned, but I just wanted to tell you that we are still cracking down on everybody until the situations been dealt with.

How can you expect us to judge your actions accurately if you don't provide us with the full facts.
Have you ever considered a sticky-thread in GD for mods to announce bans/suspensions/warnings? A lot of forums have those, they help to inspire confidence in the fairness and impartiality of the moderating system.

As for your amusing 'you don't know what you're talking about' aspersion. I have to assume that you missed the point of my post, which was not to alledge you were enforcing the policy of sig-regulation in a biased fashion; but to enquire as to why the policy appeared to be having a particularly high-impact on Spamalot members. Don't take it so personally when people ask for clarification of your actions; after all, if you're not doing anything wrong, then what have you got to fear?
