For now, I am going to

Vote Vincent M

Somewhat random, of course, but I think he hasn't posted anything yet, and he's usually pretty active on the forum. Submarining?

Vote Balsiefen

Your telling us not to bandwagon while at the same time you were one on the main players to start the bandwagon on safariguy. You're playing both sides of the fence and that seems very scummy to me. The proof is in the pudding.

He is probably thinking that safariguy just made a n00bish mistake which he may have but I don't think anyone can be that n00bish without just making a mistake in the mafia.

Ok, so most first games start out during the day. I didn't read the title carefully before posting, and, honoring the rules, did not edit my post. For what it's worth, I declare here and now that I am not mafia, and if I was, I wouldn't give away my target by posting in the open forum.

I am aware that it may have been caused by you thinking it started in day but in the first and your first post in the game it's you starting a bandwagon until you realize it's night. The next day the person you were bandwagoning(Puff) ended up dead. If you ask me that is a bit suspicious.

Wow your being very mature about this. Most people would freak when they are about to get lynched.

When I die, I hope you all are happy. Somehow, "I told you so" will sound a lot better when I am calm than if I went OMGZZIMAGONNADIE!!! and run around like a chicken with his head cut off.

the reason i did this was that i wanted him to get edgy and eather make a mistake or explain himself. i didnt want him lynched untill he could do one of the two.

however, now to top it off he's now not defending himself, voting no lynch when he probarbly knows thats one of the scummiest things to do and has stopped caring.

get the rope out people

Have fun with hanging me guys. You're only helping out the mafia...Unless you are the mafia, in which case you're doing your job well.

And the reason I voted no lynch was so that if I miraculously managed to make it to the second day, you couldn't point the finger at me and say "look, he voted for the victim again! He must be mafia!" Doesn't matter, do what you want.

I don't know whether safariguy5 is mafia or not, but I stand by my vote for Vincent M. He is a very active poster who has posted in other threads while this one was alive, but never posted here (unless I am really mistaken).

Either he's mafia or inactive: in both cases his death would help us all.

Hmmm, I think we need better evidence before we drop the hammer on safariguy. Granted, he does look suspicious, but all we've got is coincidental evidence with the game starting at night and the person he voted for ends up dead. But if he is mafia, they can communicate at night. So I doubt they'd decide to kill him after after his cohorts saw that he voted, to avoid the exact thing that's happening. It could be a clever set-up though...

Perhaps mistake, perhpas not; but I don't feel it's strong enough evidence to lynch him. What if he's got a good pro-town power role (like doc)? That would put us at a serious disadvantage this early in the game. And he can't claim this early either, it's Vice City; I'm sure there will be multiple mafias who'd love a shot at him if he did.

However, the no lynch vote looks real bad. The town should never vote no lynch in my opinion. But yea, I'm not being the deciding vote. Not without better proof anyway.

He's either submarining or just busy with the return of Spamalot. We'll never know which till the mod prods him a bit though.

For the time being, I'm holding my vote. We still have some time till the next night phase.

It's all the evidence we have and easily the most suspicious thing that has come up.

Just so everybody knows: real life will severly restrict my internet access this weekend. If you don't hear much or anything from me until Monday, don't jump to conclusions, please.

I will try to log in and see if any immediate action is required (we don't want a lynchless day, I think), but I can't garantuee it.

Incidentally, I'd be interested in hearing if the mod has prodded inactive players.
