Six Cities Tourney (TPA 5)(COMPLETE)

We are full with 48 players. Player list, city assignments and adjustments based on the increased players to come.

I originally envisioned this tourney with 36 players, but we ended up with 48. I needed to create 2 more groups of 12, so I ran the list of cities through random generator and determined we would double up New York City and Quad Cities. This will only impact the first round - games sent out next week should not have any impact.

Players who did not provide their preferences got them from random number generator.

As I got to the last couple, some preferences had to be skipped to even out the groups (ie quad cities had several openings, but I couldn't put someone in there twice!). If you're part of the last 8 or so, some judgments had to be made. Not everyone got their first two preferences (almost most did).

Groups will be posted in the first post. I envision games going out today.

A few games were sent out this morning with incorrect settings (they were standard instead of assassin). I was able to drop all but one of them, which will not count. I am planning to send out the games with the correct settings shortly. Apologies for any confusion.

A link to the scoreboard has been added to the first post. I hope to update every 2-3 days. Scoreboard does not currently reflect all completed games, but you get the idea.

Also, there is a lack of detail to the scoreboard. If you have any specific questions about your score, or anyone elses score, please let me know.

Simonforest missed his second set of invites to the last seven games. Rather than try to find a replacement at this late stage, I will play those last seven games for him. Any points I score (or negatives I get) will not count in the following seven games:

I don't think you're going to like the score so much...while you do have 7 wins (by my count), you also have been killed a time or two (of the games I have scored so far).

Scoreboard is being updated as we speak. A mixture of the round 1 games and round 2 games have been scored. In round 1, primarily games have been scored in the cities where most of the games are completed. In round 2, I focused on some of the 3 player games.

Yeah I know, just get another win today but by seeing the table still can have some change hoping the top seed get kill sometime

How do the points work in Portland is someone is eliminated by the neutral reset? Game 14880023 will see red lose his last one by starting his turn giving the game to blue. Does blue get the points?

Yes, blue will score the point since they won the game. Red will lose the point since they were assassinated.

Most games are finished (12 remain). I've scored approximately 57% of the games and the scoreboard was updated this morning.
