Well, the Legend of Korra series, as well as the Avatar series as a whole is now over. This last season was on par or maybe even better than the Last Airbender series. And without spoiling anything, had a very interesting ending that doubles as fanservice, open ended, and big F U to Nickelodeon.

I don't know about "best", as it is closer to the "worst". The new TMNT movie, despite not asking for it. In fact I rented it a few days before Christmas, and let me say;

The original movies may be cheesy with effects of the time, but at least it keeps the turtles true to form. This new movie of an abomination turns Donatello into an ultra nerd, with glasses and a robotic shell if I'm not mistaken, Mikey into a pervert for someone of a different species, and Shredder into a fucking Transformer. And it takes about 30 minutes for the Turtles to even show up.
