Do you think the firing of wicked was good or bad for this site?

december 31st 2014 shall henceforth be known as "rip on Conquer Club Day!!!". is it because we are all already drunk and a little unhappy with the changes they've made? OR, will it get much, much worse as the evening progresses? stay tuned...

what does this comment have to do with the firing of Wicked? that was years ago... please explain... and by no stretch of the imagination is DaGip a supporter or fan of Wicked... if you don't know/understand what is going on, don't make assumptions... opposed to the old it saying, "it makes an ASS of U and Me", it just makes you look like an ass...-Jésus noir

sorry, but this is not related to the rip on CC that is currently going on... in no way does wicked have anything to do with the events that happened yesterday (an interface update that has left many people wondering how this change is for the best)... however, your blanket attempted insult was very humorous... and you also showed your lack of CC knowledge in your declaration of your love for wicked. how can any person state they liked someone associated who drafted a mini army of minions in an effort to topple CC? if you like her, you should have left the site when she was banned, like most of her loyal followers did. oh, they were perma-banned, almost forgot... you probably loved insomnia red and her fake death too... and i'm sorry if you are not intelligent enough to follow posts longer than 2 sentences long that require a bit of mental input to comprehend... the black jesus is responsible for that short coming in your life, i apologize... the black jesus has spoken..-Jésus noir

I voted no, because this site has been going downhill for years, and if she had actually brought down CC at least we would have gone out on top. Plus it would have been an amusing ride either way.

I can understand why owen might disagree though, apparently he still takes great interest in things like whether the word "retard" is allowed in CC game chat and I feel a little bad depriving him of that spectacle.

Now that wicked is gone, I expect and influx of new (and old) customers to come rushing in here because wicked was a retarded bitch who banned people for the most minor transgressions and Lack was the biggest retard to let her go ape shit like that for so long, and then fire her...and then after firing her, none of the people she banned got reinstated to the site. It took a failing genre of an archaic board game to finally make Lack sell off the site, and then those individuals realized what a retarded, fucked up decision it was to permaban a bunch of paying customers.

Without owen, I would have never known anything about CC allowing permabans to come back. Owen takes more interest in this site than whether or not he can use the word "retard" in game chat. Owen truly loves this website, as do I,...as do you (I assume) and we would like nothing more than to see the new owners succeed at keeping this site going (at least until my death).

How this site survives, isn't entirely up to the new owners, it's up to us...the community. We make the decision if this boat floats or not, We decide whether the changes in design are a bit much and whether or not we want to continue being members here. It was because of wicked that tore apart a live and thriving internet community and it was Lack's incompetence to realize that his choice in immature moderation had blossomed into a customer-killing beast (and he made Twill his right-hand douche who cared nothing about customer-base).

The firing of wicked was one of the best decisions Lack and his team made, though it was a bit late and the damage had already been done. The new owners walked into this fully aware of the challenges they had, and they listened to their customer-base. AoG suggested it, I think; and owen took initiative to locate and persuade disenchanted customers to come back.

Nothing made me happier than to finally be released from one of wicked's stupid forum bans (which eventually led to my permaban over stupid shit over owen's "Cockmuncher" avatar parody).

Now that wicked is gone and I am back, I can truly say: "WICKED, I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

I spent a lot of nights online with WIcked..

We had barrels of laughs!

She was Sassy to the men folk, tolerant to the flamers and never idle to the whims of her favorite girls,,

Wicked always had time for every-one!

She played Risk with abandon, courted on Live Chat with enthusiasm, and always stood up for the loser.

Wicked was, probably the best asset CC ever had back in the old glory days..

She basically ran the entire thing, Lock Stock and Barrel.

She suspended me one time because I joking said in game chat that I cheated in a game she was involved with. I filled out an e ticket about the rediculous suspension which of course she intercepted on the mods end and closed it before anybody could read it. I eventually was able to catch up with Lackattack to get the issue resolved.

I like to remember the old days of CC when it was possible to be either of those 3 traits..
But it seems these days, CC has been covered in a grey shroud of bland...

When Wicked was around, there was always a colourful explosion , it might not have been by her hand, but it sure as hell was in her era.

Flame wars formed a coalition with Wicked, She watched our backs, and we always watched hers..

This Charter still carries on.

I have always been an apostle of free speech, So I raise a glass to the Era when Wicked was running amok upon this 'peaceful land'.
In the days when we used to log on 4 or 5 times a day... Just to hit up GD or Some Moderator..
Slag off Andy Duff, or the System, carp on about how the graphics could be improved, then grab a gang of lunatic free-loading internet savy whores, and invade a Phhb internet forum, with only the intention in mind of creating dis-order.
