So I'm like almost caught up. This stood out to me though:

Oh feck confused. I Investigate ROLE.

Like, this is so newbie that I'm pretty sure we should give Wing a pass tonight. There are pretend levels of newbie you can play as scum to pass off mistakes, but this is just too much.

He claimed ROLE cop, though. I think there is a difference. Cop = town/mafia and ROLEcop = role but not alignment? (Or am I just confusing myself?)

There is a difference, but it's not functional for this point. You're right about the distinction (at least, in the usual incarnations of the roles), but a town rolecop is still pretty damn useful to town. So his comment does seem odd in that respect. (Then again, definitely something a newbie would do; indeed, something I'm pretty sure I actually did as a mafia newbie.)

People who have missed major events in the game. Specifically in this case Wing being seemingly oblivious to the PR (post restriction) discussion about Rishaed even though it was discussed for over a page not too long ago.

While I'll accept that Wing might be a rolecop, I don't see how that necessarily makes him town. He could be a scum rolecop (I think a rolecop for the scum would be in the realm of possibility in this type of game).

I accept that NoS' doc claim kind of points town because I've never seen a scum doc before...it seems like a weird concept unless there are a lot of vig's who are shooting all over the place.

I'm going to keep my vote on him for now because I'm not sold that he's town, even if he is a rolecop.

I guess maybe there's a scenerio where Wing checks two people, they both end up being bus drivers and since two busdrivers are unlikely to be the same alignment we can try to lynch both, but that would be a rare scenerio (that would presuppose there are two of the same alignment and that Wing checks both of them).

I am not oblivious to it. Rishaed has posted a few comments in plain english without any restriction. Its very questionable to suggest a post restriction when he would have broken it multiple times.

Rolecop is pretty unlikely to be counterclaimed though. It's completely missing in many games, so the lack of a counterclaim doesn't tell us anything. The lack of a doc counterclaim does tell us something, and it's why I have zero interest in lynching NoS at least on D1, but that's the important part, not that "scum docs don't exist." Because even if he had been a scum doc, there also would have been a town doc, and the counterclaim might have come.

I suspect we may have overlapping factions for both sides considering the theme. One could be third party who's winning condition is in line with Town. I would think the same could be true of mafia/anti town factions. Perhaps we have independent win conditions as well.

In regards to Wing he has been playing as one who has the Towns best interest weather he is really Town or third party. The fact that he made a chart to show vote counts of each player and voting patterns tells me his is interested in figuring out who really has been playing scummy. A mafia role cop would not have need to do so as all they would need to do is sit back and use their power at their leisure and after discussion with their team.

Right now the only viable lynch candidates are Hotshot and Wing. It seems at the moment we have a stalemate. While it would be nice to lynch scum there is no sure fire guarantee either really is scum but I am more suspect of those voting Wing.

We are also starting to realize that role may not be indicative of alignment this game so what good is a claim? The only indication then of alignment is game play. Who among the two has played like they have Towns best interest?

Actually, you don't have to trust the tambo read, since it's wrong in this game. I think tambo is just upset that he couldn't lynch me last game, so he's trying twice as hard this time. I know I wasn't active the first couple days of this game since I was just finishing up my crazy busy time at work, but now that I've had time I've been plenty active. It seems like most people are voting me just because others are voting and because tambo keeps saying to.... Storr has said point blank that is his reason. I haven't even had anything to defend against since no-one's really brought up any kind of a case against me. For example, wing's vote with no explanation at all... I guess he just wants someone other than him to be in consideration of being lynched, he doesn't even try to say he thinks I'm scum with the vote.
