So the scoring system causes the veteran player to call a new player a retard, then protect another veteran just so the 'cook' loses?nietzsche wrote:you can blame that on the scoring system
yes to the second part. I probably would've done the same but without rubbing it on your face, I would've paid attention, and if i didn't have a shot, i'll stopped you from winning, you would've costed me like 60 points.AlexTo wrote:So the scoring system causes the veteran player to call a new player a retard, then protect another veteran just so the 'cook' loses?nietzsche wrote:you can blame that on the scoring system
Fortunately not everyne does that. I never did and never will. I consider it being totally unfair and close to game throwing ( which is an offense in CC).I probably would've done the same but without rubbing it on your face, I would've paid attention, and if i didn't have a shot, i'll stopped you from winning, you would've costed me like 60 points.
I've found that playing doubles against a high ranking pair goes quite well. Even if you lose the first game, ask for a rematch. Then smash them having learnt their play. After that they wont play you again as they've realised you arent easy farm and you can walk away with points in the bank.AlexTo wrote:Got it.
I suppose the 'cooks' can respond by simply playing irrationally and sabotaging the highest rank player in the game. Over time, the high ranks may stop this behaviour?
Perhaps some of these new players find it impossible to keep playing because of the notorious site lag. Most of them won't come to the forum to report the problem, and the few of them who do will receive the usual "Nope, it's not happening" as an answer.AlexTo wrote:I have definitely noticed a lot of low rank players deadbeating. So perhaps one reason why CC may be dying is that new players are giving up too soon.
