Hey GT, did you protect yourself last night, or Aim??? We weren't sure, were thinking you'd say you were protecting Aim, but really protect yourself. Either way, exile ended up being a better pick anyway.

Out of curiosity, why'd you pick Exile? I figured you'd have gone for Narc, seeing as how he was part of the confirmed townie pool.
This is my first time to actually be able to do anything with a cop role. I was cop briefly in the Pulp Fiction game, but Exile killed me on night 2 (before I got to reveal anything), and tried to kill me on nights 1 and 0 as well.
On of these days I'd like to get to play as a doc, but on the other hand I fear it because I'm too prominent a player.

Hmmm. I guess I can see it.
At any rate, I should have simply investigated ML. My rationale for not made sense to me, since I thought he was obviously scum, but it was a poor decision gameplay-wise in terms of convincing the townies.
Well played all! Especially you ML! That role-claim was genius! I hope you realize that, had I not followed my rules and posted a warning, that probobly would've given you away. The final scene will come later

If people would have listened to me, Wicked should have been lynched 'yesterday' and then we would have had more time to figure out the last scumbag!!!
You guys are retarded.
And, Wicked, I told you I know when you are lying...

Pfffttt... I told you all she was mafia on Day 1 and she still talked her way out of it.
good game everyone....the only thing i guess i dont like about that roleclaim is Xens message saying that he would have modkilled him had we not been at lylo. It implies that he has in fact not fabricated the claim which is possible with no message, after all no one gets modkilled for making up a claim.
either way i apologize to anark and aimless for being tired and not unvoting before i left the house....Thats a couple games i owe you guys, i still dont like the way this ended though. I suppose i could be in the wrong about it, but i feel like its a really silly way to win a game at an lylo.
The whole bit just struck me as odd thats all. And especially since i think there were more (at least from my perspective) legitamate wins to try and win the game, not that they would have been easy or anything...i dont think ill be playing in any games for ML before i leave for the summer. Its not that it was an effective tactic, but i dont think its something that i would use and dont really think i like in that situation of a game. So consider this my temporary censor for what its worth.
Actually your warning only added credibility to it. I see nothing wrong with what ML posted, and don't understand what GT is offended by. People make up claims and background stories all the time. Not understanding what the big fuss is about.
XenHu wrote:My warning was still legit, I think. ML's claim sounded like something I would've put in a PM, thus, it was a violation of the rules.

uhh, how can it sound like something you "would've put in a PM"? either it was or it wasn't. If he makes up a role, and paraphrases that bogus role's background info, it's not a violation of the rules.

its one of those things that i dont think there is anything directly wrong with....but is very against the spirit of a cleanly run game. I mean he is well within his rights to make some kind of claim there....But to set up a fake claim as such with 5 players in a lylo, then go oh no! please dont modkill me, with what is in my estimation an unfortuantly timed mod note, which gives a lot of credence to the claim, just unfortuante. For me i think its not a very classy way to win the game. Im not saying its against the letter of the law, but i think its against the spirit of the law, and players should strive to play better.
As a result, im voicing my disapproval for that type of claim in an lylo (with subsequent mod response) by not playing in any more games with ML for a while....i think hes a better player than that.
