Membership Requirements and Process
Do not post for membership in this thread. Private Message a Legionnaire or meet us in games. We will explain the process...as more clearly defined below. You can also visit our Recruitment Thread: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... 0&t=122126 Thanks.
1. Members must follow clan rules at all times.
2. Members must be premium. The sheer number of games played by the Legion requires more than the number of game slots allotted to freemiums.
3. Potential members must be sponsored by a Legion member. This is the character reference we need to establish that the candidate would fit into the clan and play well in the group.
4. Members need to be 18 years old or older. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis. This generally will ensure that the candidate brings the requisite maturity level to the table.
5. Legion members cannot be a member of another competitive clan or team. We have this rule in place so there is no conflict of interest. Legionnaires are permitted to join other CC usergroups and non-competitive clans.
6. Members are expected to actively use the clan forums. Logging in once every day or two ensures that members know what is going on at the Legion, and that all members are able to sign up for clan wars, leagues, ladders, centurion tournaments and other clan activities. We are in a clan to play together and learn from one another. We all have jobs and lives outside CC. Active does not necessarily mean logging in every hour to see what is new, but members should log in at least every couple of days or so to see what's going on.
7. Prospective members will go through at least a two week provisional membership. This is the time when everyone has the opportunity to play and talk with the new member. If is it determined that they would make a good addition to the team then the member will be admitted at the end of their provisional membership.
8. Members are required to follow the official rules of Conquer Club, and always play fairly and honestly.
9. Members are expected to help the Legion's leadership in times of need in activities such as organizing, logistics and general help.
10. Cheating and abuse will not be tolerated within the clan.
11. Members are required to give due notice to the Legion's leadership in the event of an absence, or termination of membership. Although some things may be beyond your control, advising the council, or other members of any extended absences will allow the clan to run your missed turns, and organize future events while you are away.
12. Member's who's level of clan activity falls below levels that are deemed appropriate will be given a warning (when possible, and when applicable) that their membership will be revoked if participation does not reach necessary levels. Inactive members will be removed from the roster indefinitely, until a proper explanation, or approval by Head Council is given.
13. Members who are found to have cheated and/or compromised the image and of the Legion purposely, or due to negligence, will be Banned from the clan for life.
14. Banned members will not be let back into the clan, without question. This is non-negotiable.
