The site was better 8 years ago? So if i did a search of your games played I wouldn't see any trench, no spoils, god forbid anything below 5 min speed games (holy lord remember that?) or any of the new maps? 8 years that might even be pre das schlong i mean come on!

Ok, i'm not really disagreeing I just get a little tired of ppl saying the site was so much better years ago. In fact I started this response with the intent to troll you a la 8 years ago when that was the norm. But I ran out of troll steam after 3 sentences haha.

If you do a search for online risk games CC still shows up as having one of the most active forums on the web (on some site it still shows up top of google not looking it up now)
EDIT: this was meant to help your argument we are not very active now just noting that I saw that we were back in the hey day so i feel ya. its an old article.

Site drama does keep traffic up. I know I had over 10k posts on netphoria.org (smashing pumpkins) from 1996-2001.

But the game play is better here then when I joined, and tho I only have time for 15 games at a time and some speeders here and there, im pretty happy with it.

LTrain, I think you might be yearning for a different era. One where people search for "online risk games" is a thing.
