I had a few weigh in with positive feedback, nobody weighed in with negative ... doing a best-of-3 series throughout the playoffs should help with favorable drops, who goes first, etc.

Standings sheet updated -- we have a close final deciding game in the Amer WC between PHI & JAX ... a nuke matchup that has reduced the map down to 4 total troops between the two of them!

In the National brackets -- Spokane came through the WC round, and then went on a hot streak in the Semis against Arizona, winning that matchup 3 - 0.

I'll give the American Conf a chance to catchup before releasing the National Conf Championship games between Spokane and Portland.

After a hard fought 20-round battle, the Philadelphia Soul have emerged with a 2-1 victory over the Jacksonville Sharks in the Amer WC ... well played both of you! That nuke matchup was really a grind-it-out kind of game there at the end with troop counts low on both sides of the skirmish.

Amer Semis coming out now! Philadelphia is matched up against Tampa Bay!

Well -- we're now down to four! The Conference Championships are underway:

National has Spokane (rmjw10) traveling to Portland (chidone) for a 3-game series

American has Philadelphia (V.J.) traveling to New Orleans (Mojo2222) for their 3-game matchup

Spokane and Philadelphia have both come a long ways since the Wild Card games to get here -- let's see if their seasons continue on to the League Championship!

Well -- we've made it to the championship matchup! chidone is leading the Portland Thunder from the National Conference against V.J. and the Philadelphia Soul from the American Conference. The National Conf won the Pro Bowl week and home field advantage in the Arena Bowl, so the 3 games will take place on the Egypt: Nubia map.

Portland had a somewhat shorter path through the playoffs with their #1 seeding, Philadelphia has had a long journey that started as the first Wild Card team out of the American Conf. Let's hope fatigue won't be a concern!

And ... the Arena Bowl has come to a conclusion! V.J. and the Philadelphia Soul defeated chidone and the Portland Thunder, by a game count of 2 - 1! V.J. definitely took the long road to the championship, coming from the 1st Wild Card spot in the American Conf.
