Because it was advertised in the clan forum and not the mafia forum. When it did arrive here most regular players were involved in a large game already.

You will find that a lot of mafia players arent tied to clans.

@ Endgame ... we will make better and better setup. Clan mafia can work but in a 4 clans setup, not in a 16 clans setup.

Well, what about mafia inside mafia. In every faction one player is mafia, but you don't know who it is. While you can have daychat in your clan's forums, you still don't know who is scum in your team... That could work, regardless of knowing that 4 factions exist and their members.
