i'm not sure i understand....someone posts something on my wall, out of the blue, and you want to know why they did it? Let me ask you this, what difference does the context make...are you suggesting there might actually be some kind of defense for suggesting your mother should be raped? I thought this was the forum to report abusive comments, not the forum to be subject to abuse....

They aren't mods, if the mods / admin need additional info they'll request it.
Anyone can comment or ask for explainations etc, usually the more info provided the better but up to you etc

was there a previous exchange between you that may have contributed to this was what I was looking for, uzi - nothing more.
This person has been causing major problems in chat and is currently serving a long ban. Looks like he's now spreading his bile elsewhere. I really hope that this doesn't end with a 'Foe' and move on response. He's a prolific abuser and the time has come to take serious action to stop it.

totes agree wif keefie on this. he doesn't contribute financially nor to the social fabric of this site in any way. textbook case of addition via subtraction here...
We'll consider this as (idiotic) flaming. All of catstevens' paddle record has been from the Chat department so far. This is his first offense outside of Live Chat. He has been warned. Feel free to put him on your Foe list and delete his wall post.
For all of us = let's try to avoid posting wall comments that only taunts or provoke the other person further. It's not productive. We are not being different from the person being reported if we keep doing this.
llama is right. We cannot judge the rapist before first determining the length of the skirt the girl was wearing, or how tight it was.
A warning was an appropriate outcome given OP's consistent refusal to provide additional information about what may or may not have provoked catstevens in his actions.
