Day 1 Scene

In a large bed, two people are sleeping in the bed as daylight begins to peak between the curtains. Blissfully unaware of the world around them until a loud, annoying beep thundered through their dreams. One of them reached over and smashed the snooze button. Unfortunately he forgot about the scale that the weird Houdini rip off had given them and as it fell, it shattered.

Around the world, a violent shockwave erupted and strange things began to happen. In one corner, a dog danced with a cat while trees grew unusually fast behind them. The sky turns red above them. "So is this a bad thing?" One person asks.

"Who cares?" Another shouted jubilantly. "The Chiefs just won the world series!"

Many in the town seemed to be celebrating but a few slunk off into the corner with another intent. The balance had to be brought back. No matter how many had to be killed along the way.

blah blah blah. Cliche lightning flash. blah blah blah. Maniacal (?) laughter.

End scene.
