Mainly because of all these events and the time they take. An individual war doesnt prove much, winning a premier cup title does.IcePack wrote:Lot of activity these days, CCup, the League, Random League, Mini Cups, events, CR@W. Still pick up wars going on, but not so much amongst the top clans.
No, not really.hairingtons wrote:Sticking my head in the door.
Are clans & clan wars active these days?

Not all, for example I know that my old clan VDLL prefers single wars - less of a commitment. All top clans do participate in both, and I think most "average" clans too.hairingtons wrote:Do all the clans participate in the League and the Cup? (I guess it's like a season -- that's what you mean by CL7 / CL8, etc?)

Sure, 18-24 months ago, the number of clans exploded. But to be honest the "decline" since then is rather natural. Clans is probably the healthiest part of CC today.iAmCaffeine wrote:Clans are still around, but the scene in general is deteriorating.
you would think that one would go to the CLAN FORUM to ask these sorts of things...-Jésus noirhairingtons wrote:Sticking my head in the door.

I agree it's natural, but if you look at the number of veterans leaving compared to new members sticking in clans, the path is obvious.Arama86n wrote:Sure, 18-24 months ago, the number of clans exploded. At one stage there were "too many" clans to support active players interested in participating in that aspect of CC. Things have simply righted themselves.
IMHO

interesting. i would probably agree w/ you but don't have a whole lot of data to back it up. Who are these so called veterans you speak of? Well, regarding stats through the last 12 months we've "lost" 5 clans (though I believe all were mergers, so while we lost clans in the "total" it really was right sizing / joining of other clans rather than total loss).EBConquer wrote:interesting. i would probably agree w/ you but don't have a whole lot of data to back it up.
