When in doubt protect the one claiming a pro town role until proven otherwise. derf claimed it early on so he should've had your protection. just lucked up that the scum didn't get in their kill on time for night 2 as I received it after starting day 3.

Damn I wish the other mafia would have replied to my PMs for our last night action, I was gonna take out the1exile, and it would have changed the whole game.

I actually did want to take you out night 1, but there were 2 factors: I figured you'd have doc protection as you were one of the few experienced players, and then higher priorities kept popping up. In retrospect, damn it for not going with my gut.

But yea, it would have been a mafia/cult tie I think.
