Honestly, Duk, you have a very weirdly distorted sense of history. I get that you believe it, but accept that the critics of your behaviour have the heft of historical truth sometimes when they offer comment.

Up to you really at this point, but people will point out when you get stuff wrong and you should accept that.

The downside to this scoring system is that it encourages minimal participation. Once you have a decent score on the board, you have no incentive to continue. In fact playing more games could be to your detriment.

That's absolutely true.

On the other hand, we often get accused of having Challenges that are spamfests, where people who can play a thousand games (no matter how badly) will come out on top, while people who have a job have no chance.

That's why I insist that the scoring formula must be different every month. We keep switching it up for different tastes, 1000-game maniacs and 1-game ponderers and everything in between.
