Saxi Goes to Europe

What am I doing wrong?? Last game had perfect rolls to break Europe on first turn and still wasn't even close. The thing that is really frustrating is that dumb bot forgets how to kill me as soon as it gets a big lead. I last a few turns before the game is out of reach and another 10-15 not getting killed.

I made it on the 1st attempt.

Just stacked the first round and he opened up to let me in -

I never let him have more than 1 stack facing mine

I took USA mid game and left a small stack there which he never bothered so I kept my bonus and kept breaking his.

Appreciate the info. I think I am now 0-8 against him. I blew through all the other bot games, but cant catch a break on this one. This guy is ruthless with me and rarely doesn't have a big stack able to attack. I grabbed North America last game and had stack on both borders open to him (which one had a single troop). Cashed and broke me.

Never defend your bonuses against bots - leave 1's and they will rarely break em. Also, wherever you fort, the bot often likes to move its troops there too - I usually make weird forts just to throw the bot off - I took Aussie bonus round 4 and won - the bot held europe i think on 3 occasions

break his bonus round 1 and prevent the bot to take it back, build stack and stay away from his stack...you should pass it in one attempt...

It took 9 tries but finally won. Knocked out the 9th challenge in 1 try and the 10th in 2. Not sure why this one was so tough for me. I won not attacking round 1, then continuing to break his bonus. Don't remember doing anything special, just worked out.

I learned this beating The Rathole. For any who get stuck on that, I grabbed up as many bonuses as possible but instead of protecting them kept a stack of my own. He would fort or end his turn with his stack next to mine so I would fort my stack away from his on my turn to a non bonus spot. He wouldn't try to attack my stack doing that and only sometimes would break my bonuses. Dropped a lot of 2s once our troop numbers got near even to slow him down more.
