That may well be true, I suspect that his pride won't allow a return under his original name.
Now if CC's management were to send him an arselicking message saying that it was all a mistake and the fault of CC, then happy days I'm sure.

Weird it is has started rising again so quickly. I had a dream about world 2.1 last week (no lie), woke up and said to my wife "I'm going to start playing CC again." I hadn't thought about the game for years.

Not a smart question young man, your thinker works well enough to see the obvious stupidity in that statement. If one wanted to work for CC, one would not play CC. A CC general as a mod or employee would be lunacy, why hire someone who knows how things are done? Mediocrity fears success, a general would be shunned and treated with suspicion as a likely farmer, someone who manipulated their way to, rather than earned their rank. Being a perpetual cook would be deemed as being more worthy.

Yep...it has been a little over 30 days since the influx of new recruits really began. Many joined, took a look around, maybe played a game or two, and then left for good. It is too bad CC can't retain more than it does.

Count me in as one of those returning after a long time away. I logged back in a little over a week ago and played my first game since ... 2007? I'm definitely glad to be back though I do miss the Middle Earth map! I've been trying to get my old gang of fanatics back on the platform. What are some of the new "must try" maps?

Welcome back! as far maps, it seems you have +170 maps new to you since your last game in 2007...there is many that are nice maps...it all depends what you are looking for.
You will probably found many more stuff that didn’t exist back then, such as few new settings, new Conquer Club wide event, auto-tournament, Tribes world...and more.
