---------It has been 5 years I have been stuck at around 3800ish players I have rated
(I rate everyone I play,so I know how many people I have played)...With so many players the past few months, new and old coming back...I am a few away from rating 4000 players...I thought I would never get there...Now ,are there players with 10,000 etc...etc... players rated???...Just wondering... ... I was giving everyone rating in my first year, now I almost never do. Looks like I have received ratings for about 9% of games I've played, and have only give ratings in about 5% of games. I've received just under 570 ratings in 6600 games played and I've left under 350.

I've rated 1393 players. No idea how many people I've played, since most people play many games, but as a very rough guess I'd say 5 or 6 thousand.

To be honest, I don't bother half the time because I forget the ratings even exist. lol. Ratings are not a good indicator of a player's playing ability anyway. However, a bad overall rating generally means that the player is no fun to play with or against. You can probably guess that a person with a lower rating is a sore loser, or a general asshat.

If you played against someone who was a member for two years and totally diabolical at the game, then rated them accordingly, I'd think they'd be very upset. That's the culture here, so most people don't go for honest ratings because they would feel bad doing it. I'm the same, especially if the player hasn't caused any trouble. I would rather not rate them at all, than give them 1 star for gameplay. Besides, their player rank is probably low anyway, so that's an indicator in itself.

After a player gets the platinum, I guess they can stop, there is no further motivation...
