I think not. Atleast we have a good chance of finding scum by looking for scumtells, and not just voting random, which could result in much worse results.

I was merely going on what the mod had written. He had said that Chad22342, Avron, Kernal_Kronic, Skittles!, and Skoffin would be prodded so I was merely stating that these people had been inactive and that if it came down to where there wasn't much to go on for a vote (on day 1 there normally isn't) then we might want to vote someone who hadn't said anything in the forum.

I am sorry if it came across like i was pushing for a premature vote.

Random is a bad idea. It's too risky and you can't really use vote counts to find scum. This is why I think scum would like the random vote.

and now i realize that without having a target you would get no discussion - i was also defensively trying to move the votes away from myself. if i got banwaggoned then you will definitely lose a pro-gotham, whereas there was at least a chance that we could get scum with the random.

On this Night I investigated koesen and he too showed Anti-Gotham. But, give the character of Detective Bullock, I am really not so sure of my sanity (plus the fact that I usually suck in power using).

I've learned that it's important for a cop to make sure of his or her sanity before they roleclaim. Now you are an automatic target and the doc will be tied up protecting you for the duration. Not a good idea to roleclaim even if this was going slow.

Ok, this has cleard some things up. From that death scene we can infer that maybe the joker and catwoman are working together as the 1st mafia, and mr. freeze and penguin are the other mafia. The other "anti-gotham" roles are probably a cult, an SK, and maybe, like the first post said, there may be a paranoid gun-owner that is supposed to be a "trigger-happy cop". Im not sure of that one, but with 2 deaths each night, maybe the roleblocker has managed to find the SK.

I agree with this for the most part. I think your dead-on with Penguin/Mr. Freeze, and Joker/Catwoman, but there has to be 1 more group of mafia. The scratched-up coin found by the bushes is Two-Face's, he flips it to make decisions, so that means there should be Two Face/dunno added to the list. Maybe Scarecrow? As on several occasions it seems the guards and random inmates were seen to be befuddled or not sure what they were doing.

True, but the night log said 2 figures were reported talking by the bushes where the coin was found. I'm not sure the SK would be colluding with someone else. Thats why I suggested he was part of a 2 man team as seems to be the tendencies so far with the mafia groups unless I'm misreading the night scenes, which is a possibility.

I see no reason to disbelieve he's Bullock, with this many players 2 cops wouldn't be unusual, but I do agree that he should have waited another day to roleclaim.

Anyway, I'm going to have to go with mandalorian on this one and Vote: Koessen, we need to find out the sanity of our cop and Koessen did seem slightly scummy.
