... Yo yo, Kyle...

Quote, and all that: (Kyle's words)

"2: Would I fight for America? Probably not, I don't agree with most of my countries policies or the general leadership or the path they are going in. I don't really believe that being born somewhere is enough of a reason for me to lose my life just for that place. Don't get me wrong America is alot better than alot of countries around the world, but there are better countries that I'd agree with more and be alot more willing to die for. " (end Kyle's words)

... Somebody might have hit on this before, but I wasn't about to plow through several pages looking for it. Answer if you haven't yet, and feel you'd like to... What countries are you talking about? I seem to recall the, "What states have you been to?" thread... Granted, states was the focus, but I was left with the impression that you're a bit young to be a world traveler. ..

... Let me tell you, for what it's worth - America rocks. It completely and absolutely kicks arse and rocks in so many ways I cannot even begin to make a list. If you want to find this out for yourself, that's fine - don't take my word for it.

... No country I've been to, and I've been to plenty (expat here), even comes close. (though I hear Ireland is nice).

I'd write for my country, I'd film for my country, hell I'd even have sex for my country, but I will not pick up a gun and kill another human being for my country.

Sorry if that makes me a coward, I'm just not that into killing real people.

Now, give me a PS2 controller, and I'll blow away all the virtual bad guys you want.
  best answer yet....
Tut tut, living in the past eh vtmarik? *he says looking at his brand new PS3* :P

A) It's too expensive
B) I got a Wii, and that's all the Next-Gen goodness I need at the moment
C) I don't have HDTV, or any need to be able to play Blu-Ray discs
D) It's too goddamn expensive
E) The console's ugly.
F) Sony dropped the ball on the whole rumble thing
G) Sony's PR department has a terminal case of foot-in-mouth disorder
H) I'm a retro gamer at heart and I love my old tech
I) All the nifty PS2 doodads are gonna be cheap as hell
J) I don't want to lose all my gamesaves like my friends did when they got their PS3
K) It's too fucking expensive.

Now, if you feel bad for me, you can always make a donation to the cause... ^_^

A) It's not expensive, you're just poor.
B) The Wii is as far from Next-Gen as you can get. Damn cartoons...
C) You don't need a HDTV to enjoy the PS3's lovely jubbly goodness! I don't!
D) You obviously can't think of more excuses.
E) Not if you stand it up, then it looks sexy! AND it has chrome tiling.
F) Buying rumble for the controllers would have bankrupted Sony. So they couldn't.
G) I won't comment on this.
H) Stop living in the past man! Embrace the future!
I) Ok, that I can't disagree with.
J) Bah, who wants to play crappy old PS2 games on the PS3 anyway?! That's what new PS3 games are for, like Resistance and MGS4.
K) Shut up and hold still while I relieve you of your wallet. Damn, it's empty!

I don't need hugs! NO DONATION FOR YOU!

1. no
2. depends on the situation. i wouldnt blindly fight for my country unless extreme situations, such as being attacked by a hitler. I also would fight if my country was fighting another hitler type person.
3. depends on the situation, look at Q 2
4. Yes, state should be based on facts, church is more about faith, then logic
5. yes, i am releating and no many soldiers very well

I actually wasn't referring to any country in particular, I was more of just meaning for me to feel able to die for a country I'd have to agree with ALMOST EVERYTHING they were doing, which I couldn't do with america.

No, she's not. She's 'smacking' you, while you 'hit' someone. There's a difference in spelling.
