my opinion counts for nothing here but it's a fine line because generally i agree with you. BUT if he had said, say, n****** - what do we say then? we hopefully all say "whoa, buddy, can't say that ya racist &%*^, take a vacation"

so while it's not like he launched into some attack on homosexuals and for the early portion of my life, that word was synonymous with "idiot" or "dumbass" so my personal sensitivities to it are dulled compared to some other words or phrases. it doesn't make it ok nor is it potentially any less hurtful to someone if they were in fact gay and playing in that game or a part of this community.

my guess is homeboy will get a deserved short vacation as a lesson in what you can and cannot say.
