Star refund?

I signed up to a tournament 1-2 months ago that still only has 5 participants registered.

If I quit, do I get back the stars that I paid to register? As the stars can be used to join a different (more full) tournament. Or do I lose them forever as soon as I sign up?

If they've been down Big Wham's pants then you can keep them tbh
