He might be Mafia and he might not be. But he is wildly unpredictable and dangerous. I hope he's not town. I think he's 3rd party. That is my guess. But I have no idea what his angle is. I think it's better safe than sorry at this point.

Well, he is still suspicious, but he at least explained and made sense.

At this stage the Mod is basically outright telling us to take action and vote someone, which to me is actually pretty concerning for Town.

We have 19 players left, 16 of whom are eligible to vote. 8 have voted Halrob, we have 1 basically declaring his allegiance to Halrob through a stubborn distractor vote, and Halrob cannot vote for himself = 10. So we have 6 players who have not voted:

1) actorday
2) cdbridges
3) Dukasaur
4) General Bax
5) joshzam
6) TheJMac

We can surmise a few things from this group...this will form the majority/entirety of his 3rd party/Mafia coalition with Pepe if we are able to reveal his allegiance. We may have an advanced player or two who is intentionally voting for his own "tribe' to maintain his appearance but, this early, I think that is a niche case. Other than Pepe, the rest of them have been forced into a sort of inactivity from not wanting to stick their neck out and declare themselves.

I wonder if we can also place the Warden in this group if the Warden is unable to vote (or I suppose could still be Halrob himself but every day I move further and further away from this thought process).

By this point I think Town should also assume that, most likely, chanakam, pershy, and Maxleod are somehow collectively/individually responsible for the kill onto traffic and are thus, at the very least, not ANTI-town. There is still a possibility that one of the active 16 was responsible and is prevented from divulging their knowledge but I think the former is more likely.

Most importantly, I think we have 1 or 2 straggler Townies left in the above group at most who have not voted. Not more than that. So we will need 100% participation from town to get this vote through.

Also, I mostly expect to be killed over Night 2 for shamelessly leading the witch hunt to get out Halrob and set Town on what I believe to be the right track. Since I've already made myself public enemy #1, I see no reason to hold back at this juncture so am just going to start calling out people.

I think these 3 from my above group are, by this point, ACTIVELY suspicious through their contribution of zero to game, vacuous/meaningless posts, and reluctance to vote:
1) cdbridges
2) Dukasaur
3) General Bax

These 3 I find to be more believable and are mostly who I'm looking at to get the vote through for Halrob:
1) joshzam
2) TheJMac
3) actorday

And if I'm still here Day 3, I'll be pleasantly surprised but I at least want Town to have some names to go off Day 3 if Halrob flips Mafia (of course, this would all be after getting out Pepe who has declared himself).

Yeah, I had higher expectations for myself also.

I had really forgotten just how much time Mafia consumes. Yes, I've played it before (4 times), but there was only one game where I was a meaningful contributor to the result. In the other three games I was killed too soon to gain much experience.

Did you send in a night action? I'm wondering if that was why there's no sight of General Bax and cdbridges, or if something else is going on.

I didn't even notice when night began. I checked this thread at one point and it was Day 1. I checked again and it was Day 2. Night snuck by while I had a few really busy days in R/L.

I don't have to address everything right now, but that is a voice from the cell block. I don't think that is Razor saying that, so don't necessarily trust it.

Several things changed from yesterday:

• Yesterday there were two people voting for Dunk at the end of the day. Today there is only you.
• Yesterday we did not know that Loose Cannon (the player you quoted and agreed with on his Dunk vote) was a 3rd party Psycho Killer, and not a townie.
• Yesterday halrob was complaining about being "silenced". Today, he is still alive and recently logged in, but instead of answering questions or saying anything in his defense, he only made a vague threat.
• Yesterday we had all of our townies. Today, three are dead, up to three are muted, and several players are not contributing. That makes it even more difficult to get a town lynch going.

So if you have a case to make against Dunk, then make it. But don't try to claim that you're just following a bandwagon on him, because it's not a bandwagon if you're the only one on it.

I like what TheJMac had to say about the "Cat" role on mafia.gg. I was not familiar with this role before. It is Mafia aligned and we had people meowing all D1. I can't imagine that was a coincidence. And I would not put it past them to silence themself as a way of making them look like a victim and not having to participate in D2. IGMEOY, cats.

I've got info to share. I received not one but TWO messages that I think you should all know about before the end of the day.

The first one was at the end of N1:

"You of ALL people should know the first rule of prison, "Don't drop the soap" AND WHAT DID YOU DO, YOU DROPPED THE SOAP.
Now you are vulnerable and should be scared for your life tomorrow."

I find it interesting that it specifies that it "entered my mind". That is, it wasn't written down. The message itself is threatening, but I'm not afraid. I don't understand what it means. These are the people who joked about the prison soap on D1 (in order): Ragian, Pepe, traffic, degaston. Rage and traffic said they were joke posts. I wonder if this is anyway connected to my note? I also don't know why I would be more vulnerable now than I was before.

The second message I received in the middle of D2:

I honestly don't trust ChatGPT, so I'm not convinced this is the correct decryption. Can anyone else make something from this code?

Side note: If these messages are coming from players - either Town or Mafia - I don't think they will be helpful at all. Town would be wasting our time with these, and Mafia would not want to help Town anyway. These could only be real hints if they came from Razor, and I'm not convinced of that. I think the person playing the Spy just has no idea how to play the role properly so they're having fun.

I know that 40 + 2 + 2 = 44, and that you're the only one here with a 44 in their name.
