Other than the volume thing I said before, I just feel like votanic is...like, being extra votanicky in this game. Idk if that makes sense to anyone else.
See... LC? Even those that pity you won't waste their time reading your posts.swang918 wrote:As for everyone else, I have no strong reads on anyone. Everyone playing their usual styles. I just feel bad for Loose Cannon, who continues to be on his own island trying to solve for Game Theory Optimal, and everyone ignoring him at this point. I'm sorry loose but I've been skipping past your last few math theory posts.

This is the excuse that is used all the time to justify batty conspiracy theories, demented distractions, and near-complete no-shows...Ragian wrote:Town duty is to get rid of scum. Not to remove anyone not sticking to arbitrary rules of correct gameplay. Otherwise, you'd go quickly![]()
I don't think Swang is scum. I like my chances with DDS or, perhaps, Devante.
Again, how does this tie me in with him then? I'm failing to see the parallel herepmchugh wrote:The momentum on swang built right after i voted for you. I tried to change the lynch pack to vote for you, and thought that swang might not happen. I had 4 people agree to vote literally anyone to get a lynch done. Only when Indid this did dev and vot come in and vote swang.DirtyDishSoap wrote:Again, how does this tie me in with him then? Read what I actually write.pmchugh wrote:I do think voting for bad townies is not good play in general, I would rather go with the person I think is most likely scum than someone you think is obv town but playing badly.
Vot, are you deliberately doing a different strategy this game from previous ones?
Gee PMC, it seems you can just magically sense 'obvscum'. It's all ESP and vibes with you. Your 0-100 is based on nothing if you are Town, and on pure deceit if you are Scum.pmchugh wrote:You never answered my question.
And we just fundamentally disagree on how to think about things. Last game, I would have bet my house charle was town, sometimes there are obv town.
I see it as a continuous line, where you can be anywhere from 0-100 on my scum rating. Sometimes you seem to have some weird discrete categories thing that goes;
Confirmed scum
Obv scum
No idea at all
Claimed PR.
Although at other times you completely disregard this and vote for people or put suspicion on people.
Did I miss something here? Where is this coming from. If everyone's in agreement this is leaning right then I'll correct my voteMaxleod wrote:Hmm... Deadline is close. Townies on the Swang wagon, please jump on the DDS one. Fusi ADMITTEDLY started this wagon after I voted his fellow scumbag DDS, as some kind of red herring. Please, just please, come to your senses.
I agree, Max. I went back and re-read Fusi's last post... You need to connect the dots better.Devante wrote:Did I miss something here? Where is this coming from. Why do you think I'm sulking?Ragian wrote:I, too, must have missed that Fusi admitted to being scum. If that's true, it makes our lives quite a lot easier.

Probably upset i got him lynched the last game he was in. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Votanic wrote:I agree, Max. I went back and re-read Fusi's last post... It seems you and fusi have some kind of 'beef'... but no one's going to change a vote over one more vague mafia tiff.
Especially since you also have a habit of tunnelling DDS. Tempting I know, ...but I seriously, I find his play this game just typical.

You aren't, though. You're destructive on behalf of town (if you are town). If you only want to lynch confirmed scum, you should vote for no lynch. And since that our biggest asset is our numbers, you should not try to lynch "bad townies" (which, by the way, is not a universal predicate). Am I understanding you correctly, then, when I take it that right now you're voting for a townie?Votanic wrote:Just because I'm trying to treat this like a game instead of a psychological experiment in manipulation and despair.Ragian wrote:LOL...pot, kettle, black.

Myself and 11 others are a team... and the enemy knows it, but unfortunately we don't.
So we need to show reason and discipline, even in our isolation tanks.
Don't rely on 'magical' thinking to see through solid walls and deceit... and always remember bad town play is good scum play, even if the bad player is thechnically Town.
