Ever Had a Game You Knew You’d Lose… But Stayed Anyway?

Post by jadongreen »

Hi everyone,
Last night I joined a match where things went wrong almost immediately. Bad starting territories, strong neighbors, and I was basically surrounded by turn five. Normally I would resign early and move on, but I decided to stay just to see how long I could survive. Strangely, that became one of the most fun games I’ve played; negotiating temporary peace, making small defensive plays, and watching the bigger powers fight each other while I quietly held on. It made me wonder if sometimes Conquer Club isn’t just about winning, but about how creatively you play when victory looks impossible. Have you ever stayed in a match you were certain you’d lose? Did it turn into something memorable or unexpected?
