If you’re saying “I already believed he was” (at the beginning of D2) you are referring to an earlier moment in time… which means you had that read before the Letter of the Law hit... and that was the moment of your night action moment because nothing changed in that short period
So why on earth did you then decide to track me (a player you had as Town) instead of the chaotic Kingm you supposedly still found suspicious?
You literally said:
“I wanted to track Kingm cause I still think he is suspicious from his post D1… but last game when I was scum I got busted for faking a tracker… so I tracked Sonic instead to have safe proof ready.”
You didn’t track scum.
You didn’t hunt for information.
You hunted for insurance in case you got caught ghosting.
That is not how a Town Tracker plays.
Of course i read before the letter I had a post before the letter was posted. You are making no sense
I did though you were no scum or at least u didnt killed Dev.

Now that Traf has spilled the beans, SoN!c, can you corroborate that you visited me?
@Charle, why do you ask if I will die?
Yes, i had full cover on you. I was expecting a kill attempt on you.. And since i looked a bit scummy me thinks i was pretty safe myself (but i posted a big hint to all town to see: don't waste powers on me the first 2 nights).
So by that Traf did visit Sonic and tracked. but still
@ Traf -
I still can't see the reason why not scum tracker ?
I'm running a mafia game at the moment - Line Of Duty - and we have 3 inactive players.
I've already asked a player who was killed Night1 to sub back in for Riskmaster.
If any of you are willing to be subbed into this game to replace an inactive and take over their role - please pm me.
I'll sub you in on a first come first served basis.
First player to pm me will get Cofari's role right away.
Second player will get General Cod's role if he doesn't post again by 1 April.
I'm going to extend voting deadline by 1 week to 8th April to allow for possibility of 2 subs.
Therefore as per the above I have just tried to see if I can get 2 subs
I'm also as you can see from the above EXTENDING THE D2 deadline to 8th April
I need time to think... You know, It's too far-fetched that Traf has guessed that Son!c visited me. (Thanks for the hard cover, Son!c!) I know Traf can be a scum tracker. It makes sense, given the flavour, that there's a scum version of most roles in a show about weeding out corrupt officers within a police unit.
Sure Ragian take as much time you need. Deadline is set to an extra week afterall. But at the end of the day we need to lynch.
My vote stays on the scum tracker (who can always show his cards and say why somebody else is a better lynch). To engage finally and take a stand instead of just ghost hiding.
Ok from what I can see from trying to catch up we have a confirmed town out of Sonic protector role, confirmed tracker role from Trafalgar, whether scum or town still unsure, and ragian provided info on traf's night visiting but don't believe he revealed his role. Do i have that correct? Miss anyone?
Loose, can I reveal what I did night one in my other role?
So I can’t say who I paper trailed…well that sucks. No need to distinguish posts were adults wearing the blue loose. In that case back to my pro oak post. Do I have my assessment accurate

FP SONIC
That is correct. And Charle is serving "letters" (townish role but scummy behavior).
And both Traf and Charle claim they got a Line of Duty character name with original role PM (sofar they are the only ones who claim to have received a character name*, - me, annieh and kingm claim not to have received such name, and i think rest has not either).
*because Charle asked before @all to come forward if you had received a character role name (but Traf never came forward at that time).
I can go along with the most important name (superintendant Hastings = Charle) but i don't see any reason why Traf's claimed name should be given out by mod while rest has not a name either
Based on the structure of the show, the two primary deuteragonists (main supporting characters to the overall AC-12 investigation arc) in Line of Duty are Detective Inspector Kate Fleming and Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott.
In short: if we have Kate Fleming we need to have Steve Arnott in here too. And again, nobody came forward when Charle asked..
And Kate is the team's primary undercover specialist. Why would the undercover be a tracker instead of a Undercover Cop?
What Undercover cop does:
The player is secretly assigned to the mafia/werewolf group at the start (they wake up with the evil team at night and participate in their kills/discussions).
However, their true alignment is Town (villagers/innocents). They win if the town wins, not if the mafia/werewolves win..(the opposite of a scum Traitor role).
Another version of Undercover Cop role is as follows: "At the start of the game, you learn who the town Sheriff is. You are told who the Mafia targets to kill each night. If their target is not killed, your identity is revealed to the Mafia. If the Sheriff Investigates you, they will be told that you are Mafia the first time. If the Sheriff Investigates you again, they will be told that you are Town."
A third variant is that "The Undercover Cop" is protected against kills every night, unless they choose to use their ability to investigate someone's alignment.
Bottom line: There are many things LC could do with a "undercover cop" role - all way better then a simple town tracker...
And again, Kate is just a supporting character to the overall AC-12 investigation main crew..
It feels Traf added that undercover name "Kate" to give some weight to his claimed TOWN tracker role..when it's scum's
Okay so. Ragian claimed to have tracked Traf to Son!c, Traf confirms this by saying hes the tracker and tracked Son!c to Ragian. Son!c confirmed that he hard covered Ragian. Traf cannot be a mafia watcher fake claiming tracker because Ragian cant be visited directly thanks to Son!c's action. Ragian could technically be lying and watched Son!c and saw Traf visit him. However, it would be risky for Rag to lie in this situation and everything else so far seems to point to town Rag.
Tracker can be a mafia role though is more commonly town.
So:
Town:
1. Son!c-Mod confirmed Firearms
2. Annieh
3. Ragian-no full claim, but claimed a track on Traf.
Sus
1. Traf-Claims Tracker. Very quiet. Night action choice doesnt quite make sense.
2. Homer_Jay: I still dont really like that post he made back on page 6 I think it was.
Neutral: Everyone else.
Maxleod wrote:Not strike, he's the only one with a functioning brain.
Thats the other thing. Ragian did not outright counterclaim and it would be rather silly for Traf to fake claim tracker right after being told that hed been tracked. So either Traf was assured thaf Tracker was a safe fake claim or hes a tracker.
Maxleod wrote:Not strike, he's the only one with a functioning brain.
Hi Ragian, you asked if I have thoughts. I'll try to put em together ok, I think I'm feeling like you were after st Paddy's day.
I'm unconvinced on the Traf is scum thing. The vote math starts weird and the justification isn't there for me. His situation is plausible enough.
Thank you LC for trying. I could put out the word to some nerds and probably find 2 if you want.
Sitting outside someone's house in a car is very Kate Flemming. No way they'd let her only do that only one time.
I think we should use show details more for fun and flavor than as things we can rely on. Being that most people are completely unfamiliar and it's so subjective. I don't think it's our strongest line of inquiry.
Happy to see Dev back. Happy to see strike wolf making points.
All these roles coming out and the L-2 thing being used as a tool has me thinking about the value of role reveals vs the risk. Seems like a golden rule to keep everything secret unless pressed and, ok, I guess. I don't have the gaming experience to have a good feel for it.
Honestly, I'm back on my kingm shit. I do not believe he's vanilla. Workin on something big!
That "Kate" claim does not sit well with me. Especially when you google Line of Duty. It's just a supportive role..
However; if you scroll the Line of Duty wiki page you see that "H" is mentioned as a group of 4 bent coppers.
Four... - making me believe strongly we have 4 scums here as well (it's LC's favorite series for crying out loud)..
And if you look at "H" it says "The term originates from the recorded dying declaration of corrupt officer DI Matthew Cottan in Series 3, in which he revealed the names of several corrupt officers. When asked by DC Kate Fleming for the name of the most senior corrupt officer in the Organised Crime Syndicate, Cottan was capable only of blinking to indicate the first letter of the officers surname. He blinked twice to indicate that that letter was H."
I think this is where Traf got his "Kate Fleming' idea.. like he thinks its a big name that sells his story. Toughts?
Traf still seems off to me and the name thing has been getting to me as well. I dont have a name but in looking at the devs kill scene and the role posting, the name isnt in it either but LC does reference a name in the scene. The only two who have come up with the names are Traf and Charle and each of them have stories that have holes. Charle has been calling to protect Traf, I just get bad vibes from that direction so Im leaving my vote for now on Traf.
