Game format: Each WNBA game will include five maps ... one for each player in the starting lineup.
The PG game will be played on the preferred map/settings for the home team.
The SG game will be played on the preferred map/settings for the home team (can be the same as PG or different)
The SF game will be played on a predetermined geographical map* for the home city.
The PF game will be played on the USA-road map that includes your home city.
The C game will be played on random map*
Settings for the SF/PF & C maps will be escalating, chained, fog.
20-round limit for all games and no poly or freestyle.

WNBAScoring by David Ball, on FlickrOvertime rules:
The winner gets a bonus point for each spoil/card they hold at the end of each map. The second player in the rotation gets a +2 bonus if they win the map.
These extra points will be added to the scorebook in the case of overtime.
Spoils are a default (3) for any ‘no spoils’ game.
*Note the chance to earn 'Star' player status to boost your playoff team by having a player(s) finish in the top-10 in scoring during the regular season.
*The top three teams in 'Team Scoring' will earn a minor 'Bench Boost' for the playoffs affecting the map for their first player off the bench.
Regular season:
I'm looking to fill a 16-team league using some past WNBA franchises to fill it out. Teams will play a 44-game regular season.
Postseason:
I will be using an expanded 8-map format for playoff games, using formulas that create shot attempts based on troop deploy, card turn-in, spoils and speed of victory.
The top two teams in each conference will qualify for the playoffs and will fill seeds 1-4
The next four-best teams will earn wildcard spots and will fill seeds 5-8
First round is Best of 3
Conference Finals & WNBA Finals will be Best of 5.
The WNBA Finals will be played as a Best of 7 series.
