All right we will push forward with a 26-team league 13 in the West and 13 in the East.

Top 8 finishers in each conference advance to the playoff bracket.

Regular season will remain at 34 matches, but the schedule will have to be a hybrid mix, so won't follow the MLS matches exactly

In the West, only 5 points separate 4th place from 9th place, and San Diego holds a 1 point edge over Salt Lake City for the #1 spot.

In the East, Miami holds a league best 11-1-1 record at this stage, while only three points (1 win) separate 6th place from 9th place.

Something to consider in the future. I've always been open to that as an open setting and it's rarely used, but I'll take it under consideration for future tourneys.
