Fortifying Strategy

Post by kevinc »

Hi all,

Has anyone any tips for playing when fortifications are only set to 1 move. I'm used to playing with unlimited, or multiple moves, so trying to figure out different ways to play with this rule.

Cheers!

... What country is most vulnerable? Losing what country would damage you the most (loss of bonuses, etc...). It's hard when you only have one, but it makes you think, and that's a good thing!

I think most of the strategy in that case is done while attacking. You don't want to lead your troops in a dead end cause you can't move them back. You can send only part of your army, but of course if you don't send enough and they die you're in trouble. The strategy is really about carefuly planning your attack and trying to see what consequences it has on your army.
